Nope, not at all. I never do that. I almost always watch movies/listen to music at around 12db~9db below reference.

I love it very loud, but how anyone could listen at reference level constantly is beyond me.

Oh and i just got a new lamp for my projector. the hour count was just 1686 but i just felt like a bit more light output.

Yeah, I just have a few puffs when I'm having some beers about once or twice a week. I don't ever do one without the other for some reason. It's quite a pleasant combination for me. On average I probably have about 6 puffs and 12 beers once every 5 days.

Congrats on the new lamp! It's amazing how you get used to an older lamp, until you pop in a new one, and it's just so much better on the brightness and contrast and makes the colors pop more to.

About to watch X-Men DoFP. My first time watching the Rogue Cut.

I watched X-Men DoFP Rogue Cut and John Wick. Wasn't much difference with the rogue cut, but I enjoyed it. John Wick was a crazy violent (and a bit tongue in cheek) movie, and I really enjoyed it too.

I am dying to see the new Star Wars movie, but unfortunately my friend who always goes to see the big movies with me won't be able to go until Tuesday, so I've already bought our tickets with great seats in RPX (Regal's big ass version of Imax) and Dolby Atmos. It's assigned seating so I chose the best seats and ordered them last week, and they have big plush comfy chairs.

I'm so freakin' excited, I almost decided to go see it once by myself before then, but instead I'm just going to hold off and watch the entire saga on blu-ray over the next couple of days.

About to heat up some leftover pizza and start The Phantom Menace, and yes I am one of those rare middle-aged guys who actually really likes the prequels. The stories might not be as awesome as the originals, but they've got plenty of whiz-bang-pow that really makes my HT room feel like an Imax amusement park ride.

The earliest 'Defining Moment' in my life that I can remember was seeing the original Star Wars for the first time. I was about 7 when it first came out, and it just blew me away, and to this day, it's one of my favorites of all time.

I haven't heard any bad things other than maybe some nitpicky things only a die-heart fan would find.

Nope haven't seen it either. Wanted to wait until all of the Christmas stress have had some time to dissipate.

I heard it's very "Star Warsy".
