Youse guys got any crazy plans for the game? I'll be watching it on my 130" screen in the HT room, but it's looking like a pretty small turn out. Maybe just 1 or 2 friends coming over, but I got plenty of beverages and excellent buds.

Mitch Hedberg is probably my favorite comedian.

I did something proactive for a change. I bought a new projector lamp while my old one was still working fine. I just installed the new lamp today, and it does look a little nicer than my older one. Now when this one starts going out, I have a spare to get me through for a while.

That's a good plan. My first lamp has 1000 hours on it and looks perfect.
I have another as a spare unused. I should throw that one in and give it a blast to make sure it works fine.

The lamps are rated to 4000 hours. I actually think they will do it as well. I still have stacks of light output. Manual iris is set to -8 so I have scope to open brightness as it ages.

Yeah, it's really nice knowing I have a reserve lamp that's in great shape if something goes wrong with my new one. It's the first time I've ever had a spare, and there used to be a small nagging feeling in the back of my mind that was always worrying when the lamp might go. Now, for the first time, that feeling is gone.

Thanks bro, I worked 9 hours today but I'm catchin' a buzz to some Jeff Beck - Blow By Blow in quad surround right now.

Gotta work 8 hours tomorrow, but that's morning Joe's problem.

Been listening to them since the beginning. A friend of mine bought the CD in high school decades ago. I love how it goes from metal to top 40 to cartoon music to funk to whatever. Mike Patton from Faith No More is the lead singer. Bit 'O trivia: Mike Patton did the vocalizations for the 'zombies' in I Am Legend:
