GRRM better get crackin' on some new books. Since I watch on BD no matter how hard I try to stay spoiler free, I always stumble onto something. So I knew

[Show spoiler]Jon Snow died. I just didn't know how he died. Damn! Also, when Stannis torched his little girl, I almost said this is too much. Fortunately the episode ended on a better note when the dragon rescued Dany in the fighting pits. That was pretty badass.

Have you heard of the new series Stranger Things on Netflix? It's like a mix of The Goonies, Super 8 and the X-Files. And it takes place in the 80's with a great soundtrack. I highly recommend this. Unfortunately it's a short season with only 8 episodes.

No, I came across it on the inter webs. The guy did a good job. You see any movies recently? I'm waiting for Netflix to get Hardcore Henry. That movie looks nuts.

Hardcore Henry made me car-sick, but it was kinda interesting and pretty F-ed up fun. The Nice Guys is one of the best surprise movies for me in quite a while. If you haven't seen it, it's a little like The Big Lebowski for me in a way, which is high praise from me.

Ever checked out the tv show Preacher from Seth Rogen? I've seen the first few episodes and it looks promising. Sorta X-Filesy - Cowboy /Texas style with a bit more quirkiness and dark humor with a promisingly weird plot, so far.

I still haven't finished all of Preacher yet. I'm about half way done (and about half way lit right now too ) with season 1 and it's definitely interesting. Good to hear it doesn't go down hill at the end.

I didn't notice Buck, I need to rewatch it. That movie was all freaky/stylie and funny as hell.
