Try one of the snapshots from April 2023 and prior - very slow loading at the moment.

Had to close it as it made me sad.

Unfortunately you can't fully navigate the old site through the Wayback Machine unless every page has been captured.

I have found that Rarewaves still has a sizeable catalogue of Network titles on their site, including old Sold Out listings that they haven't removed yet. Not everything, but it's good enough!

Some of the Sold Out listings comeback occasionally with low stock too. Got "The prisoner" complete series from Rarewaves today.

I'm surprised people are buying Night Of The Living Dead (listed as sold out) considering Network CUT it by approximately 35 seconds including the 7 seconds of dialogue from the scene where Ben asks about the location of the Coopers' car.

Nice one. Is that Network's 2017 release?

On the subject of The Prisoner, The Laughing Prisoner was to be another release by Network on DVD, over a decade ago, but in the end it never made it to market.

They didn’t cut it - it’s just that the print they used was so shitty that was missing segments. The most charitable description of it would be ‘the grindhouse version’.

It was only earlier that I stumbled across my review copy of it.

Clearance issues - can't remember if it was for music or McGoohan's estate.

It was the standard 2019 release, which I guess was same transfer\PQ as 2017 one. It was double price could have got from Network or more if was in one of their sales, as likely was. Happy to get it though.

I presume you have seen The Prisoner (1967) before or will it be the first time?

I was hoping that would get a release. There's what looks like a pretty fair home recording on YouTube. It's fun and I enjoyed Siouxsie's cover of The Passenger

It's a blind buy but I generally like this sort of sci series.

So Australia is getting The Baron films through Imprint.

Wonder if a UK release gets announced by the end of the year.

Is this the cobbled together 2 part episodes?

I wonder if Network would've released the whole hog including the complete series in one set.

This site needs the thinking emoji.

Is there a complete list of TV productions by ITC Entertainment & Euston Films that have been released on BD?

That is an excellent choice as a blind buy. I hope you really enjoy watching this unique series. I would class The Prisoner as within the territory of dystopian science fiction or should that be dystopian science fact. A very profound and stylish production, with so many fascinating details. There are sci-fi series which can have themes in common with The Prisoner, but as you will see there is nothing like it.

An article on the British Film Institute's website.

6 ways cult show The Prisoner prepared us for the modern world
By Stephen Dalton
Features
29 September 2017

Fifty years after Patrick McGoohan’s surreal spy series The Prisoner first aired on TV, are we all now living in The Village?
Quote:
Number 1: The Prisoner predicted our current age of 24-hour mass surveillance

Made at the peak of Cold War anxiety about Orwellian police states behind the Iron Curtain, The Prisoner raised the unsettling possibility that even benign western democracies might spy on their own citizens.

Even in the cosy toytown idyll of The Village, a subterranean army of faceless minions monitor our every move, brainwashing us into being model citizens and quiescent consumers. And what’s more, we like it. This was years before the shock revelations of Watergate, and decades before Edward Snowden exposed the global mass surveillance of the NSA and other agencies.

What Imprint is releasing in the Baron set may be all the material Network had finished before they closed shop. I don’t think Imprint would have been set up to finish the work that Network had started. I’m thankful for this but would have preferred having the complete series.

Thanks for highlighting this release. I will be pre-ordering this from Imprint. Second time lucky.

I don't know but it is probably easier to just search for any titles you might be interested in, adding Blu-ray to the search and see what comes up.
