I also have Final Destination 4 on anaglyph and real 3D.

I saw some scenes of the anaglyph version a few years ago and from what I remember it was nothing special.

My eyes just don't seem to ever work with analglyph 3d. Just like those magic eye pics a la Mallrats... I have all the prior mentioned ones like Journey, FD4, Valantine, and I could never get it to work. Having the proper frame packed versions of them is a real treat in comparison. I'm getting a projector in a day or so and I'm so keen to check all my 3d titles again.

Not what I wanted to hear. What did you think of the Journey video? (check out the moment where the flower seeds move across the screen). btw I'm viewing these youtube clips through my PS4 browser so I can watch them on my 50' television screen.

it's funny, I recently watched this and put up a review on a 3d blu ray FB group I'm in, sharing that I saw a lot of ghosting and was met with derision and "it's your equipment" b.s. as if I would feel the need to lie about it. Suffice to say I left that group. This isn't a very good 3D blu ray. It's just too dark and while it has a couple of nice moments, it's just a whole bunch of nothing. Not much layering, not many shots meant for 3D. I'm thinking of getting Friday the 13th 3D and Texas Chain Saw next. I hope they're better than this

No ghosting for me, and I thought the film and 3-D were excellent

What headset did you use, out of interest?

PSVR, which for normal films is obviously not great, but 3D looks good.

Ah cool. I used to use PSVR a while back. I used a Sony HMZ-T3 now, until something else with OLED comes along at a decent price point.

Apologies for replying to a post from over six years ago (have been trying to find a suitable thread where to post my comments about the My Bloody Valentine remake (couldn't find a long-running North America thread (there may have been one that was moved to the 3D sub-forum), following re-watching it from a television screening from just over two weeks ago (it was shown on Sky Sci-Fi). But I will ask, did you experience any dizziness, giddiness, vertigo and motion sickness while watching the 3D version of the remake on your VR headset? I doubt I will get one myself (for the reasons given in my question). I don't have My Bloody Valentine 3D on physical media (and don't have a 3D set-up).

Prior to the recent television screening, I had only seen the remake once and while I liked it, I didn't love it. Watched the original My Bloody Valentine (from Shout's Blu-ray release) the year before last and loved it (was disappointed when I dithered and missed out on the first edition of the novelization book). The remake on my second viewing (on of course Valentine's Day) I liked more (there were some details in the plot I missed on the first viewing, and even though I remembered who the killer was, it was still a worthwhile journey in getting to the reveal of who the killer was).

It was pretty gory in some parts (the flashback especially), which I sort-of remembered it being (turns out, similar to the Rob Zombie and recent Halloween films). Some well shot scenes and good locations (including in the town).

Not forgetting it was great that Tom Atkins was in this film (still to get Night of the Creeps on Blu-ray and I haven't seen the original Maniac Cop in a long time (did see Halloween III again a couple of years ago).

No, I was fine thankfully. Having said that, it’s a stationary screen at the large settings (the smallest setting follows your movement). Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t compare to true, modern 3D, but it was a fun experience. Pop outs look great on the headset.
