We've always done them 2-6 weeks before the wedding. Allows for the hard drinking to wear off.

I stayed up drinking after my rehearsal dinner until about 8 the morning of the wedding (I owe a buddy big time for taking away the bottle of crown and dragging me out of the hot tub at 6:30am). I didn't really feel like drinking at the reception or the after party we hosted. Wish I'd stopped at a normal time the night before.

The best tip I will give the husband to be:

Give her a morning she won't forget, you're going to spend the rest of your lives together, you will both be tired and worn out from all the activities that day, draw her a bath when you get to your hotel, let her sleep, then make the most of the morning!

That's what I did after my wedding.

I was unfortuantely involed in a bachelor party that got real ugly. It was for my brother n law. I met up with all the guys, and right away there was this big guy there (friend of my brothernlaw) who I instantly did not like. Typical big, loud, annoying guy, but I was there for my brother n law so who cares.
So this guy continues to drink, as did every else as the night progresses. Leaving a bar in the parking lot, the moron punches another guy at the party in face. I restrained him and broke up the fight. The moment everything appeared calm I get punched when I have my head turned. So I turn around and just hit him my hardest probably 2-3 times, and he goes down hard, blood pouring from his nose. I am typically not violent at all, and this was the only fight I've been in probably since grade school playground days. It was purely out of instinct and defense. The end result, bachelor party ruined, moron goes to the hospital with a broken nose, and I have a black eye in my sisters wedding, granted she made me wear make-up

That's when the best man really needs to step up and control the guest list. My brother was my best man and knew who would be welcome at the party and who wouldn't. Ended up having a great time.

I know those guys dropped a lot of money on me too. That's the other important thing, make sure everyone has cash.

If you have a real friend - he'll know how far your willing to go - and/or keep you from doing anything you'd regret.

My wife knew where I was and I told her the guys had a stripper come to the house we were at. She was cool. She and I were both surprised my friend had done that (hired a stripper), cause it's not really my thing. I don't believe in paying to get teased.

And yeah, for some reason, it was the night before the wedding - didn't think about it at the time, but drinking heavily the day before your wedding is a fairly dumb idea (although, it doesn't seemed to have stopped any of us!)

As a best man, I set-up the following:
Limo bus, big white fishing cooler filled with beer for 14 guys, Atlantic City and 2 different strip clubs - that's the extent of what I am willing to share

But on another adventure, we had a guy handcuffed to the stripper pole and all the skanks did nasty things to him asking him if he really wanted to be married to ________ - he was cursing and telling them to go f--- themselves...funny stuff

One I participated in for an Air Force buddy at the time, we took him to the nudey bar and ended up with him seated on stage, hands tied behind the chair and initially blindfolded, shirt off, five "dancers" around him, they bit pinched, scratched and slapped the sh!t out of him.

The new wife was none too happy when she saw her soon to be husband the next day with scratches on his chest and back, hickies on his neck...

GOOD TIMES

lol

The industry term for that service is "sacrifice". The marks left on the victim are just early wedding gifts from the strippers to the soon-to-be wife.

My wife got a LOT of early wedding gifts...

I think most wives would give their fiancee a freebie at the bachelor party.

If you aren't comfortable with going all the way, then just get the stripper(s) in a private room in your suite (or if this at a strip club, in the VIP or campagne roome) and they will grind some coffee for you until and make the coffee nice and hot until it bubbles.

And even after you are married I think going to strip clubs is a good thing. If your wife has a problem with it, just make sure she never finds out.

One of my uncles goes to strip clubs and his wife knows about it (he told her and said he's proud of it, that there's nothing wrong with it). Sometimes couples go to strip clubs too.

I wish the GGW restaurants would open in my area. AFAIK, they only have on in Mexico.

And in my area (Oregon), there's lots of 18 and over strip clubs (i.e. you just have to be 18 to get in -- they don't serve alcohol). These are known as "juice bars" and they will often serve better juices since I guess they specialize in making juices.

I think the smart thing to do is not take marriage advice from someone who is probably too young to be out of high school, let alone be married.

Yeah that guy is totally wrong on that. Anyone who would be willing to cheat on their fiance like that is a dirtbag and doesn't deserve to get married. I pray no one takes his advice.

OK..where should I start....If you get a knob job at you bachelor party..that would be consider a "freebie" as you call it..can you face your intended wife the day after knowing that you got a freebie the night before..Would you tell her?...not a good way to start a marriage my friend, what would stop you 6 months or even a year down the road to get another"freebie".

we played poker all night...everybody had to buy in with $45 and at the end of the next morning, the winner and I split the pot!!

It was great, because, I went "all in" within the first hour and lost!! I got so tossed, I think I puked for a day and a half...

It was my buddy Tim who won, and, he said that if I would let him kick me in the nuts, he'd give me the whole pot...so, I said, "sure.." I was gone...I didn't care...man, did that hurt!! Someone then poured a whole bottle of vodka from the freezer down my pants!! It was great!

Well I think most wives assume probably something happened at the bachelor party. As for after you are married, just don't tell your wife.

And if you aren't comfortable with an anything goes freebie, just experience the grinding. At strip clubs in my area, especially some of the juice clubs, the dancers will dance on your lap, like with full contact. So even if nothing sexual happens, you can sometimes get stress relieved on accident ... and if it's an accident even if your wife or gf finds out they can't complain about it.

Some of the clubs have rooms for just you and the dancer, some even with a locked door ... so no one would find out anyway.

The way I see it, sex is nothing special. Like say your gf is a flutist but you just like hearing the french horn better. IMO your gf should be okay with you going to hear someone play the french horn. Your relationship with your gf is about more than her flute playing. Ditto for sex. Some people can't even have sex but they can still have romantic relationships. The reason we all still have this hang up about sex is b/c of evolution. Evolution caused us to have jealous genes (by being jealous we promote our genes being better propagated in the gene pool). Once we realize the evolutionary origins of our feelings, we should be able to act more rationally and be generous with our sexuality. Strippers IMO are a good model of generosity.

I have friends who work in the business so I guess I might be biased.

Strippers sometimes give me their phone number ... one I met just for one lap dance and after it she gave me her number ... but unfortunately I lost it ... I should ask for it again. Strippers will also often meet you off the clock. They are my favorite people in the world.

i wasn't allowed to have one. however, i accidently got drunk during the wedding.

the day started off with roughly 95degree weather and me and the bestman had to walk to the church because everyone forgot us. one of the guys put goldshlager in the stretch explorer and when i took a drink after the wedding i immediately spit it back out...it was SO DAMN HOT! oh, i also drank a six-pack before the weeding. then come reception i never paid attention to what i was drinking. i remember pitchers of beer in my hands. BIG MISTAKE. the bride drove me home early. i was pretty much passed out the whole time. nothing happened that night

at one point during the festivities i was on the dance floor dancing with a mop. that was after mopping the floor after all the beer that was dropped on it. no one has out done my reception around here since then. it's a couple months shy of 7 years since the day.

we are now divorced. cheating *****

whatever you do...WATCH YOUR ALCOHOL INTAKE.
