They only claim that the music stations are commercial free - which is 100% accurate.

Not on xm when i was a active member, they would constantly spin xm commercials in between sets of songs. Just because they are pimping themselves out on their own broadcast doesn't mean it's not a commercial IMO.

Like i said pre merger though, this was a good year ago now. Not sure how they are doing it now nor do i really care. They got way to big for their own good and are paying for it at the moment.

That doesnt count....thats like saying HBO isnt commercial free because they advertise coming attractions.
