I drive around New England for my job. Sirius is soooo important to me. Doesn't matter where I go, i always know what's on, what channels are worthwhile, and which are shit.

What package are you thinking about? I'm on what is now the 'Sirius only' package. Come college football season I may upgrade to get XM Sports for ACC Football

I don't know how I ever lived without SIRIUS all these years. I now have it and love it! My local "oldies" station recently added a slew of 80's songs to their roster and I divorced from them that very day. SIRIUS has oldies by year (50's-60's-70's) AWESOME!

Have it and love it. Anytime I have to listen to commercial radio now, I get so irritated with commercials. It's well worth it.

I have always had XM and loved it. Now after the merger I don't like it so much. The DJs talk way too much and they got rid of Ethel and Squizz, it's just not the same anymore. On the plus side, I do get Stern now!!

Same. Switch "Sirius" with "XM" (even though they're basically one in the same at this point).

Same here too.

I could not live without it. I had a radio break and didn't really have the funds to go out and buy a new one, so I thought I was going to have to cancel. They offered me a free one and a refund on the lost service, great customer service.

Between Stern and commercial free music, it cannot be beat.

What I can't stand about XM nowadays is how they've really gone away from the "no commercials" thing that was such a big selling point for me in the beginning. The comedy stations up in the 150 range (on the XM tuners) are the worst. They're still nowhere near standard radio as far as how many commercials they air, but it sucks that they're there at all. I hate when I go to run a short errand, and commercials take up the entire drive to my destination.

Yeah Sirius only does commercials on the non-music stations. Not the end of the world because there are so few breaks (at least on Stern).

I had XM on my 05 Acura TL when I bought it new in 05 and had it for a few years. I stopped paying for it since I don't really listen to it, and the AQ was not the same. I did like the Top 20 songs, and Hip Hop stations.

I have had XM for 5+ years and it was great until the Sirius stations started replacing the XM stations - the music lists aren't as deep and the personalities talk to damn much and sound too much like regular radio.

I won't pay extra to get the "best of Sirius" package and Hooo-Hooo-Howie...I mainly listen to O&A and Ron and Fez and a few of the music channels. There is nothing like driving from area to area and never having to find another radio station that you want to listen to...coast to coast I can listen to the same channel - that is real nice on a 6+ hour road trip passing through 4-5 metro areas

Same.

Can't imagine driving or sitting at my computer without Sirius.

Makes you realize how crappy commercial radio is. Pure B.S., crap songs, and (too many) commercials. Only the music stations are commercial free. It's never been any different.

I was considering getting Sirius a couple years back but was told by the Best Buy salesman that it likely wouldn't have good reception at my office because I only have north-facing windows and to get good indoor reception the antenna should be on a south window. Don't know if that's true but I mainly listen to sports talk radio at work and I've found most of the shows I like online for free.

Too bad he told you that. With Sirius, you can listen online. You don't need the radio inside.

I don't listen to radio while driving. I like to hear the vehicle, the traffic, the road.

However, a couple of years ago, I bought a Sirius radio for my wife for Christmas or Birthday, don't recall which, but she doesn't like me to drive anymore. Unfortunately, she listens almost exclusively to Martha Stewart Radio.
