Not only the UPC...

The discs are different too!

US Bonds vs Canadian Bonds: Same UPCs, same discs, with (CDN) or without (US) back papers.

T2 (UK) vs T2 (Mexican) vs T2 (FR) vs T2 (NL): Different UPCs, different back papers & different discs.

That's why I consider these 4 T2 different.

Cheers,
Gui.

Yes, but not to throw a wrench in ....

But what about:
T2 (NL) vs T2 (Mexican) & T2 (FR) vs T2 (UK)
I am not sure about the UPC's, the back papers are different, but are the discs the same. We have 2 region free against 2 region B.

I have no idea if the discs are the same as they are at home and I am not.

Totally agree on the US vs Canada Bonds though

Cheers

I can verify that at least the T2 (NL) release has a unique disk as it's the only one with scandinavian subtitles. Thanks to Goatrider for helping me acquire this release.

By the way. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future some of the releases with multiple subtitles would become quite rare as they are usually released in a smaller country (small release). Yet they have potential sales in many countries because of the wide variety of subtitles. As blu-ray steelbooks become more popular and widely available, there may very well be a lot of collectors around the world who are looking for a particular release. Just as I wanted the T2 (NL) release.

You wouldn't believe how hard it was to find T2 (NL) release given the fact that other releases are so widely available.

Thanks for the clarification on the T2 (NL).

I think that your second paragraph is exactly the reason why the T2 (NL) was so hard to acquire and the volume of preorders through mediadis was unexpected by them and thereby a bunch were cancelled.

Cheers and thanks again

I will add them up.

I am not sure though how many FNAC releases there are. I know of Babylon A.D., TDK, Hellboy II, Body of Lies, and Gran Torino, and I believe that all those were aloso released separately in France as well so they would each count as 2.

Cheers
Michael
Hellboy II was not released as a non-FNAC SteelBook AFAIK.

Jumase what subtitle is scandinavian? Because the T2 Mexican have all subtitle that NL have, I would say they use the same disc.

I was looking for the Finnish subtitles. My T2 (NL) release has the following: English, Italiano, Castellano, Português Brasileiro, Nederlands, Finnish, Norsk, Português, Svenska, Dansk, Mexican Latin Español.

I have been informed that the Mexican release has the following subtitles:

English, Brazillian, Croation, Russian, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Spanish, Polish. It's always possible that some are missing in this list, but since there are some that aren't found on the dutch release at all, I would say it's probably a different disc.

Oh yeah, and the scandinavian subtitles are naturally swedish, danish, norwegian, finnish and icelandic.

Icelandic isn't usually iclueded but normally if one of the nordic subtitles can be found all the others are too.

Weird, I never took the time to verify that. But true, I've never seen the Hellboy II SteelBook anywhere else than in FNAC stores.

It's an Amaray indeed. Thought it was pretty obvious, but yes people, this is not a SteelBook, just as I thought.
