The Pizza Planet Truck, which first made an appearance in Toy Story, has made a cameo in nearly every Pixar film. For example, the truck can be seen whizzing by when the tank gang is escaping from the dentist’s office in Finding Nemo. In Ratatouille, the infamous Pizza Planet Truck can be seen on a bridge over the Seine during the scene in which Skinner is chasing Remy.
The number A113, which refers to Brad Bird and John Lasseter’s former classroom at CalArts, makes an appearance in every Pixar film. For example, A113 can be seen in Cars on the train that McQueen narrowly misses when he first loses Mack and exits onto Route 66. A113 also appears in Ratatouille, but you’ll have to look carefully for yourself to find it.
Pixar’s official “Good Luck Charm,” actor John Ratzenberger makes another appearance in Ratatouille as the head waiter, Mustafa. John’s voice has appeared in every Pixar movie including as Hamm the piggy bank in Toy Story and Toy Story 2, PT Flea in A Bug’s Life, The Underminer in The Incredibles, and Mack the truck in Cars.Mabel’s living room has several framed photos depicting Mabel and her late husband as members of the French resistance during WWII. This might explain how Mabel learned to use a shotgun.
The character Bomb Voyage from The Incredibles makes two appearances in Ratatouille. He appears as a mime on the bridge by Notre Dame when Linguini and Colette skate past [see the attached photo]. Bomb Voyage’s second appearance is the front-page headline and photo on the newspaper Colette is reading with the Solene Le Claire review.
Restaurant critic Anton Ego’s (voice of Peter O’Toole) office is shaped like a coffin to reinforce the idea that a bad review from Ego can be the “death” of a restaurant.
There were 372 graphics created that appear on food labels, boxes, street signs, posters, and businesses. Many of these graphics are named after Ratatouille crew members.
Lasseter Cabernet Sauvignon is named for executive producer John Lasseter
Chateau-Bird Champagne named for director Brad Bird
Chateau-Jessup Pauillac Medoc named for production designer Harley Jessup
Colette rides a “Calahan” branded motorcycle, named after Sharon Calahan, the director of photography/lighting.
The “Bouchiba” brand spaghetti Linguini cooks with in his apartment is named for animator Bolhem Bouchiba.
The “Bradford” mixer in the kitchen is named for producer Brad Lewis
The “Susman” brand olive oil is named for associate producer Galyn Susman.
“Bar Des 7 Chanceux” is a storefront seen on the streets of Paris. It is named for the “Lucky 7 Lounge,” a homemade secret lounge inside Pixar Animation Studios.

Hammy: The character John Ratzenberger voiced in Toy Story appeats in WALL-E’s truck. See the photo below, Hammy can be found right to the left of EVE’s head.

Apple: Pixar’s history with Apple is a long one. Steve Jobs, who co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak, bought The Graphics Group (later renamed Pixar) from Lucasfilm’s computer graphics division in 1986, and served as CEO until Pixar was acquired by Disney in 2006. Apple has been featured in previous Pixar productions like on the hood of one of the race cars in Cars. There are several references to Apple in WALL-E, the most obvious is when WALL-E watches Hello Dolly on an older video iPod. Also, when WALL-E is done charging he makes the Mac startup chime.

Eve was actually designed by Apple’s behind-the-scenes design guru Johnny Ive, the guy responsible for the design of the iPod. Andrew Stanton told Fortune: “I wanted Eve to be high-end technology - no expense spared - and I wanted it to be seamless and for the technology to be sort of hidden and subcutaneous. The more I started describing it, the more I realized I was pretty much describing the Apple playbook for design.” Auto’s voice is the creation of MacTalk, Apple’s text-to-speach program. An old mac keyboard can also be found in WALL-E’s truck

Skinner’s Scooter: The scooter Skinner used in Ratatouille can be found in the trashpile early in the film.

My brother worked on Cars for 5 years in Editorial, and Rat for some 9 months. He told me once that there were some jokes that never made it into the movie about Remy's brother Emile -- something to do with pronouncing his name like "A Meal"...

There are tons of other stories from Editorial...

My only claims to fame at Pixar is that my then 2 year-old son had a blast tromping up and down the aisles in the Pixar Theater, and I got to check out the room where Editorial discussed the progress of the film with Brad Bird!

I think that pixar will show a toy story 3 trailer in the release of toy story 1 and 2 in 3d that would be awsome and i hope that this trailer will be an actual one with footage from the movie and it would be so sweet if they showed even a few seconds on lotso

I REALLY hope they re-release the first two films in the UK. They're genius. In fact, I re-watched the original on DVD last night.

Wall*E is in Toy Story, as amazing as that is to believe. He can be seen in an open garage during the climactic "moving truck" chase (granted, its not the same exact design, but it is him).

LOL that's cool how so much of Pixar's stuff is in all of their movies, I think that's nostalgic.

Being a 16 year old, my friends and i would never be caught in the theatre seeing an animated movie. BUT next year, this is the exception!!! I don't know anybody who didn't like the first 2 films. I can't wait to see this in 3D.

Being a big fan of both Toy Story's I have to say I am worried about the third. I know I shouldn't be but Toy Story 2 being so good was because of Lassater taking the reigns and making it the movie that it was, it was supposedly atrocious before his involvement....and also what third movies are good? Both Terminator 1 and 2 were classics....3....not so much....The Godfather 1 and 2 both good films.....3....not so much....Scream 1 and 2 were enjoyable for what they were.....3.....not so much.....the list is pretty endless. I am hoping beyond hope and will be sorely disappointed if 3 does spoil this classic franchise.
