I'm glad you've been convinced to veer away from Bose. A coworker just spent gobs of money on a HT, part of which was the $3,000 Bose setup (V30 I believe). Every time she talks about it, she does so with pride and love, and I'll never say anything to take that away from her. Sometimes, bursting someone's bubble is just mean.

But then I walk away and chuckle, knowing that the low-end JBL/Pioneer setup I have $600 invested in sounds better.

What ever you do, DO NOT catch the BOSE virus because in some cases it can be fatal. Only way to get rid of it is reselling it to another person not immune to the disease.
