Sherlock Holmes looks like an incredibly bad movie. Incredibly miscast, stupid & silly. A reboot that pays no homage to the source material and actually demeans Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work. An absolute travesty.

Dang, they're putting out another version of "A Christmas Carol?!" And a second "Boondock Saints?" Huh!

The ones I want to see sooner or later would be:
"Avatar." Even if it turns out to be overhyped garbage, I'll love it anyway, I'm sure. Can't wait.

"District 9," probably see it some time this month.
"Shudder Island" looks neat. Might wait for the disc though.
"The Road," forgot all about it for a while...
"The Lovely Bones," interesting trailer...
"Surrogates," might wait for the disc, but it looks slick
"2012," might be crud, but it'll be fun.
"Dorian Grey," maybe.
"9," definitely.
"Ninja Assassin," definitely.

LOL. Sounds like Foggy has a personal vendetta against the Twilight series. I, for one, think it's pretty lame, but that's my opinion. My wife loves it and is going to go to the midnight release. It's amazing how much I loathed Twilight but yet my wife thought it was fantastic.

I can't wait to see Moon, the movie about the guy stationed alone on the moon with Kevin Spacey doing the HAL 9000 thing. It received a limited release, and it's nowhere near South Dakota, so I'll have to wait.

But on a sadder note, I have just cleaned my list off, just seen district 9, best of 2009 and its going to take something god like to knock it off, is up as good as the rest of pixar tier.

Yes, but there are SOME who do, and some on this site actually, and they would probably take offense to that. If they like the movie they like the movie.

It's no different from me wanting to see the next Vin Diesel movie, or the next Christian Bale movie. It's what I enjoy watching so I watch it. If New Moon/Twilight/Whatever is what they enjoy, then they have the right to enjoy it (even though some of us don't like the movies they like, of which I am part of that group).
