I found The Hills Have Eyes on Blu-ray yesterday at Wal*Mart! !I couldn't believe my eyes.

Found my copy at Best Buy.

I'm so happy to get this one. I loved it and it's a big apology to the Wes Craven original abortion which was a ****ing joke.

I haven't seen any official reviews yet, but I watched it the other day and the picture was stunning. If you're a fan, I'd say buy with confidence.

Gonna give this blu a go on monday night. I'm so excited for this one.

I've only ever watched it once back in 2005 and I felt sick afterwards (like almost on the level of Human Centipede) so I just had to own this one on Blu.

Don't get me started on the original film, a complete joke.

i lol'ed watching the human centipede, but then again i thrive on this kind of stuff and have a pretty twisted sense of humor

... i might stop by walmart tomorrow and see if they have the hills have eyes though

Just watched it, PQ is good for this type of film. But keep in mind when it seems like artificial black its deep and inky but at night outside, it can become a bit grainy at times.

Blu played without a glitch and I thought the lack of extras killed it but it has a 50 minute making of

and fyi, when on the 'mutants' part of the making of, during the test footage of pluto in a white room, that video kind of glitches up but nothing else happened. I think because the original source was taken from an online video of the actor testing out the makeup. If I am wrong, please someone let me know...

I am looking at the guy watching it on Monday, I am paranoid, tell me if it happens on yours! lol.

Does anyone know if this is any different from the UK release? The PQ and AQ were excellent with the exception of the night scenes being extremely grainy. I'm hoping this release cleared that up but I doubt it

nights scenes were heavy on the grain but I think it adds to the film sorta

yeah sorry about the lighting. Even if it was just a difference of 5 bucks the sequel sucked and i will never own that piece of crap.
