How many are they gonna make? 20? 25? They kill the main character and the movie still keeps going? For me this got old after the first 1, but everyone keeps feeding the animal so he keeps coming back...

The opening scene was brutal! Overall good story and pacing. I also believe that this should have ended the series (it tied up everything very nicely) but i'm not surprised it's coming back for Saw VII and VIII. I don't even mind either since IMO Saw VI got the series back on track with Saw I-III (Saw IV and V were pretty awful) and it's a little reassuring to have a horror franchise to look forward to each year similar to Friday the 13th in the 80's.

#8 hasn't been approved, as far as we know #7 will be the end.

Yeah, god forbid we support a film franchise that is well made and worthwhile.

No, I'm serious. I honestly find the first film to be the most tedious one to rewatch.

They improved on everything in the films that follow.

Do you realize how much it would suck to be 80 years old, watching Saw 58 and it refers to something that happened all the way back in the first Saw?

......must be nice to have that kind of job security.

Oh, feel free to comment. Just because you don't like the franchise, doesn't mean everyone follows along.

Just to add my two cents. I think the Saw series is the best horror series ever. It is creative, and intelligent. My rankings are as follows:

Saw 1
Saw 6
Saw 4
Saw 2
Saw 3
Saw 5

I do like the first one a good amount actually just think after the main killer died the series should of died, it just seems like they are gonna drag this out as long as people buy tickets

Someone needs to make one of those motivational posters using that punk teen's picture from the movie and at the bottom it should say:

HIS FATHER
You killed him, Motherf***er!

Someone needs to quit playing with their "Jump To Conclusions" mat.

Honestly, this was no surprise. Paranormal Activity had a huge hype machine behind it.

It's not exactly like Saw VI tanked, it still came in second.

Trust me. The franchise makes enough money, Saw VI won't be the last one.

If it makes enough money. It had a 11 mil budget and that doesn't include marketing so at 14 mil so far it still might be in the red.

Cary Elwes is a whiny baby. That's your answer.

That's one way of putting it. Hence why there was a stand in for Saw III. Apparently, all is well again with Cary and Twisted Pictures. Plus something stuck me as a little odd, who
[Show spoiler]surgically implanted that key into Easton's side? I mean, Hoffman isn't a specialist.
So, who could have done that?
