Default Saw 6 review thread

So I just got back and wow!!!!!! Easily the second best Saw movie since the first one. I cannot wait for Saw 7 now. The storyline, traps, twist....all top notch.

It's hard to talk about this one without giving anything away. That's how tight nit the storyline is. My first recommendation is if you want to see it, stay away from it's IMDB page. Trust me, you do not want to know who's in it and who they're playing.

That is all....what did yall think?

BTW - I'm thinking let's let this thread reach page 3 or 4 before we start fully talking about spoilers. That would allow a good 75-100 posts for people to read over before reading a spoiler so they can decide if they want to go see it.

[Show spoiler]LOL, I think we'll be good with the spoiler tags. Plus, I don't think that many people on here are going to see it. I am going tomorrow morning at 11:50 in the morning. I'd rather pay $4.50 for the "Early Bird" showing than the regular $7.25 ticket price.

2nd best of the series, thats a big thing to say, not like the series is good or anything but the first 3 are worth watching at very least.

But yeah, film series have done this in the past and redeamed themselves, but it might be little too late, time will tell.

I thought they were all quite good except for the last one which was kind of lame. I can see it getting redeemed with this one, though. Fingers crossed!

Pretty gory....limbs severed, people burnt, shot, hung, squished. The end is extremely gory.

yea i think they are all pretty good too with the exeption of Saw 2....saw 2 was awful in my opinion... saw 5 was a bit slower than the others but i felt tied all the movies together... so it was good in that aspect

I want to see it in theaters but want to save money. I'll just buy Saw VI on BD.

It's funny how everytime a new Saw comes out people always say its the best one to come out since the first one.

Just got back, I'd say I'm a semi fan of the series, nothing amazing, but enough gore and the story line connections are interesting enough to keep me coming back. I really hated the last one, thought it was horrible, but I actually dug this one. I really do want the series to end soon though, with a huge tie-together twist ending that blows my mind.

Jigsaw had cut off his face, Hannibal-style, slapped it on a random dude in Saw 3, survived, and has been the mastermind of Saw 4 to 76 ever since.

I hated Saw IV and V. The only saving grace to V was that over top and unexpected ending. With Saw VI, it was more of an "IN YOUR FACE" type of film where more or less saw extreme close ups of the subjects. But then again the director of the film is also the editor so he's making his own film pretty much here. My three favorite scenes are:

[Show spoiler]3. Seeing that Agent Perez was alive as a result. Kinda shocking there.

2. The Insurance Agent at the end when that dead guy's son flips the switch and kills him. That was hardcore.

1. The icing on the cake. HOFFMAN with the Reverse Bear Trap on his head. That was just jaw dropping. LOL. I was like; "WHOA!!! HE MADE IT!"

So, yeah. Since they are making a Saw VII, they need to bring Gordon in,
[Show spoiler]because who in the hell stitched the key into the doctor's side? Plus, Hoffman's bleeding to death, he's on the run, he needs someone who he can turn too.
.

There wasn't any unexpected ending to Saw 5....there wasn't a twist...at all. The only ending was Hoffman setting up Strahm as the fall guy, which he was doing the whole movie.

Now for an idea is what if....Dr. Lawerence Gordon is behind the whole thing from the very beginning. He's actually best friends, or possibly brother to Jigsaw. They both were working on it from the get go. Hoffman has acted like he wasn't in on it, Dr. Gordon could have been acting as well in the first one.
