Sounds like the wet dream of someone who is addicted to Doritos and Mountain Dew all right. *LOL*

Take a look at the Mac users thread, there's no PC bashing on there, it's just people helping each other out with how to's and product reviews of Mac related stuff...

The PC thread is people b**ching about the competition or talking about computers that they had 30 years ago.

That's pretty telling IMO.

Depends on the situation.

Logan
Have you read the PC thread? Most of it is people reminiscing about past PC's they have had and what they are currently using.

Yeah, I have read the PC thread, and it's exactly how I described it, read what I said again and get back to me.

I'll wait.

Hopefully I can keep my PS3.

I had a lotta fun with Crackdown. Jumping off twenty story buildings while firing rockets and throwing cars around was great. I also liked how the cars morphed depending on your skill level.

Heh- I swore off those years ago (don't need my kids into that much sugar and such) but that's pretty accurate I think. It was a great game.

Agreed! Hopefully they can bring a bit better story this time around. The narrator was kind of amusing but got on my nerves.

Maybe he means that they're all 3rd person shooter types?

I dunno if they are or not, I don't keep up with 360 exclusives...

Alan Wake is a highly story driven game that is not episodic in the sense that you have to buy episodes of the game... but is episodic in the way the story unfolds following the chapters of a novel. It is about a horror novel author who is suffering writer's block and takes retreat in a new england town. The lines between the novel he is writing and real life become more and more blurred. Light, not guns, will be the number one weapon in the game. It would best be desribed as survival horror probably... but is unlike anything in that category to date. Definately a game geared towards adults.

Mass Effect is a huge RPG... kind of like Fallout 3 in space. But the protagonist does develope full adult relationships. Another game definitely geared towards adults.

Crackdown is not as adult as the other two, but it's not a kiddie game by any stretch of the imagination. I'd say it's genre is sandbox.

The three games are not the same genre, nor could anyone truthfully say there are no adult games on that platform.

I have, and there is no Aple bashing going on. Just people talking about their equipment, present and past.
The -one- occurence of anything Apple concerns the commercials Mac vs PC, with Justin Long (the guy who couldn't solve his printer problem -a paperclip- with two imacs in his office in Drag me to Hell, ironically). These commercials deserve the scorn they are receiving in the PC community for being deceptive, snobish and outright fanboyish.
Those have been made to appeal to the rabbid Apple fanbase, or the undecided (are there still any?), while alienating the PC users.
Fine, so be it.

End of

P.S: I have used Macs at work for years and wish I still was. It has nothing to do with the hardware though, simply that FCP and DVDSP are great pieces of software.

Enough guys. Warnings/suspensions will be handed out accordingly once I get time to go through the thread properly.

Oh, and FYI, I was informed that it is supposed to be Uncle Fester...
