Kratos on the Live Dashboard??? - Blu-ray Forum

a 360 fanboy that I know sent this to me and was like "oooh is your beloved Kratos coming to Xbox???"

Don't know what this means at all, if anything.

Thought maybe someone else would know. Why would a Sony Exclusive character be on a Microsoft Dashboard?

It doesn't mean Kratos will be on Xbox it's probably more like a bash that Kratos is Sony exclusive so like if PS3 had a dashboard like that you might see like Master Chief.

Sony should sue them for using Kratos. And there is noway Sony would let God of War go to the Xbox

Yeah it almost seems like Microsoft might be jealous that PS3 can have Kratos and a game like God of War which is a big seller for Sony.

Also Kratos doesn't look alive in that pic and makes it look he's dead and his head is plastered onto a wall so how can anyone possibly think that it means Kratos will be on Xbox 360? It's either got to be hate for God of War or jealousy but either way I kind of figured that Microsoft was runned by a bunch of a little kids but this is taking it a little to far because now i'm starting to think that they are more like spoiled brats.

Sony even basically secured the Soul Calibur PSP game with Kratos in it so it wouldn't be on Nintendo DS just because Kratos is in it.

here is the problem

360 has NEVER had any good exclusives
sure the children love halo.....but any good 'adult game' is either
A) multi platform
B) ps3 exclusive

anyone know of any xbox exclusive games coming out in the next 2 or 3 years that are worth a damn???? lol

It is plain to see that with all the postruing and bad mouthing they have been extruding recently, Micro$oft are genuinely concerned with how much ground Sony has gained in the console market over the last two months!

Pay it no mind! Micro$ofts coroporate middle men are scraping the barrel right now, and they are becoming as childish as the fanboys that they pander too!

im 29 and have NO INTEREST in any of those games

wasnt crackdown the game that people only bought cause it had some demo with the original?

Somewhat good try by Microsoft, but I still remeber the master chief skin on Unreal Tournament 3. on PS3. much better than this..

either way, i dont see any reason sony would give up kratos and the god of war franchise to go multiplatform, that has to be one of if not sonys biggest franchise (uncharted might be bigger by now) unless M$ is flexing their checkbook muscles again, but i think that would have to be a mighty big check to bring them multiplat

I earn my living in graphics and this is what I see:
This was very well thought out and was designed both by an art team and a legal team.

See how the girls are almost deliberately LOOKING...wide eyed and straight ahead and the "Kratos-like-character" has his eyes closed and his head down? This is to eliminate distinguishing features. Obviously, to the gaming community, this looks like Kratos, but this comp was designed in such a way that even the best lawyer would take MONTHS to argue the likeness rights without a clear full face shot of the Kratos character AND his eyes which would be the most distinguishing feature.

See how he is faded back into the shadow a little and there is that opaque hue over them??? That's to disrupt his coloring and the distinguishing stripe.

In a court of law, this could be any ole mook from a rave.

It's bs and brilliant at the same time and the fact that we are here talking about it is a nice little win for them.

No matter. Ps3 does.....um.....EVERYTHING....so I'm not even concerned.

Even the head of Xbox development admitted on Twitter he was going to buy Uncharted 2.
