It’s a shame that Crouching Tiger got a 4K yet House of Flying Daggers and this never got one.

Just watched this tonight and the transfer looks amazing. For a 2007 release it holds up as a 5/5 for picture quality, the contrast, colors, fine grain, all are impeccable and the PCM 5.1 track sounds great as well. It would probably look amazing in 4K with HDR but the Blu-Ray honestly looks perfect to me.

It’s a shame that House of Flying Daggers was not nearly as good looking. At times it looks like an upscaled DVD.

Wish this was one of the blus floating around my Dollar Tree region. I found the DVD. I'd definitely upgrade to blu if it makes its way to my DTs. Good movie.

Everything I've found reading around on here about Flying Daggers on Blu-ray indicates that the Edko Hong Kong release of it has by the far the best transfer/PQ.

I have it and the PQ is decent.
