THANKS for the interest! I haven't ordered the egg and haven't even seen photos of it yet. I bumped into it during a search for information about my M41A pulse rifle. Just wrote to the place, which happens to be in Germany. Asked them to confirm the price w/shipping & to provide me a jpg of the item because they don't have one posted on their site.

Regarding the chestburster, I haven't actually received it yet! This item & the 1:1 Alien Head Bust are currently traveling by ship across the Pacific so I don't expect to see them until late February. However, here is a pic of the chestburster & Alien head here: http://www.moviereplicasdirect.com/a...ster-bust.html and http://www.moviereplicasdirect.com/a...les-group.html

Here is a photo of that Alien Egg w/Facehugger which I plan on ordering from Sweden:

Bjorn is a fantastic artist wouldn't you agree? This is the best 1:1 Alien egg I've seen on the internet.

Wish I knew how to post a secure video file because he also sent me a video of the Alien Eggs & Alien Queen.

I was expecting to see Blu Ray collection photos. I hate to say this but this isnt related with Blu Ray or Home Theater at all. Should be moved to OFF TOP section.

I beg to differ, memorabilia is a part of one's decor, which is also a part of one's theater. IMO, it really isn't any different from posters, furniture, lighting, etc....its all a part of aesthetics and what makes an individuals HT distinct as an expression of their personality.

I have been collecting James Bond memoribilia for around 30 years. I have a room in my house set up as a Bond themed bar (yes, fully stocked). Unfortunately I can't display everything I own in that room so much in packed away in a closet.

Why? It's a thread for memorabilia, not blu-ray collections. It says so right in the thread title.

And it was started in OFF TOPIC and moved here by a mod.

+1. Memorabilia makes for a lot of things in one's personal home theater.

There's nothing wrong with posting a few photos of your memorabilia it's no different then posting pictures of your Blu-Ray library, it's part of the decor if anything it shows off the passion you have for movies

It's always great to see other peoples collections & or memorabilia, great thread

Thanks everyone for the kudos !!!!

That is a great collection, but I would be freaked out if I constantly had the unmasked Predator glaring at me all of the time - ha!

Lots of great stuff here especially the dedicated Alien and Predator displays. Have to admit though that I'm completely jealous of Obi's 1:1 Han in Carbo!

Few changes on mine in the last few months:

My newest addition.

The rest of the collection.

That's awesome. It would be even better if the display sections had lights inside! I love the black covering behind the statues.

Lil Louie,

That is a pretty incredible room. Is that your theater room? You need a gallery!

Lil' Louie, you have added some great pieces to your already fantastic gallery.

Speaking of which, where did your gallery go? I absolutely loved it! Please share it with us again. It was truly one of the better home theaters that celebrated movie memorabilia (specifically Star Wars).

Thanks vega! Yeah, I'm still undecided on lights. Was going to go with some halogen bulbs, but had some concerns with that large amount of heat right up against the top of the statues. Decided on LED, but probably something batterty operated to avoid drilling holes in the cabinets. I do agree though that the cabinets are in desperate need of lights.

Thank you phansson. My room is more of a collectible room than a theater; but, yes, I do have my system in there. I've actually had to downsize it to accomodate the collectibles. If only I wasn't limited to one room, lol! BTW, love the MR helms and the lifesize Stormie. Hope to have something like that one day along with Obi's 1:1 Han in Carbo!

Thank you kingofgrills. Will try and get more pics of the front of the room up in the next few weeks. Have to admit though it is not as impressive as the collectible end.

Thanks again everyone.
