Outside of my posters, which you can see in my gallery, I have these guarding my movies:

An X-Wing, a Lego Luke Pilot, the F-18 from ID4, Barricade from TF, and a Bf-109G.

I have a LOT more "toys" lying around, from when I was a little whippersnapper. Lot of Star Wars stuff, but that's all at my mother's house. I plan on getting some newer stuff, but not to put in my movie room, probably in my pool room.

Some of my stuff is featured in my gallery. Here are my Bond Sideshow Collectibles 12 inch figures sitting atop my computer desk and some closeups of some the statues in my theater.

I purchased these early this decade(can't remember exact dates). They were made by ( http://www.filmswords.com/ )/( http://www.albion-swords.com/ ) in New Glarus, WI. They were fully sharpened by the late swordsmith Jody Samson( creator/designer of the swords ). They came with a certificate signed by Jody Samson, John Milius( director of the movie ) & others. They each weigh just under 8lbs & are kept suspended by rare earth magnets behind the Oak display boards. They're no longer being made by Albion Armorers. I think "Marto of Spain" makes another version of them now.

Bringing Dreams to Life

"Film Swords is proud to bring you accurate, licensed and authenticated swords and armor from film, literature and fantasy art -- the stuff that fired your imagination and fueled your childhood dreams.

Not just replicas or "look-alikes," but exact, definitive re-creations that are fully functional.

We make them in limited editions of hundreds and thousands, not hundreds of thousands. By investing in one of our pieces, you are joining an elite world-wide group of discriminating collectors that demand the very best.

Our pieces take longer and cost more to create - both in R&D and in production. As craftspeople and fans ourselves, we allow no compromises. Everything you see here is hand-made in the U.S.A., right here in our workshops.

Wherever possible, the original artists that created the film pieces or artwork are actively involved (and receive royalties), and all cast fittings and specifications are taken from original props and molds.

Yes, our pieces are more expensive than your run-of-the-mill mass-produced replicas. We don't apologize for that, because as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." (we do offer easy payment plans.)

The one common thread throughout all of the testimonials we have received from our customers has been, "you have made my dream come true." That is what we strive for in everything we make.

We love what we do -- and you will too."

Jody Samson
Artist - Swordmaker - Knifemaker - Friend
November 4, 1946 - December 27, 2008
It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of legendary swordmaker and creator of the Conan swords, Jody Samson, on Saturday, December 27, in his shop in New Glarus, Wisconsin. Jody was a true friend, a multi-talented artist, and one of the most generous people you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed.

GREAT idea for a thread. Zippo I love the Conan swords. Here is what I have, which isn't a lot.

You walk past these two coming in the front door.

First is Narsil.

Next is Glamdring.

Hadhafang sits on the mantle.

I got the Target exclusive release of Star Trek that came with the Enterprise model.

This is part of my wife's Kermit/muppet collection.

This is my new Star Wars closet. If you would like to see the posters in my collection, just click on the "old" theater below. I will post some new pics of the new theater soon.

Awesome collection zippo. The two swords are beautiful. I have the father's sword, but it's a cheaper version. Yours is a sight to behold. I have the NECA figures too and they are great. The likeness is just about perfect on those. The only thing you need is the Premium Format Conan from Sideshow.

I have the father's sword, Narsil, and Herugrim.

An awesome piece, isn't it. Huge too.

I had considered getting this for the longest time, but then I just kind of...ran out of room. It's beautiful.

Thanks. There are a couple of others that I really like, particularly this one, but I'm in the same boat you are. Plus I don't really want to look like a LOTR fanatic.

Soooo many to list here and I wasn't sure whether this should be limited to movie posters or other entertainment related collectibles. Will have to post photos eventually when I can afford a decent camera but these are some of the most unusual items which I'm sure many home theater enthusiast would love to own.

1. 1:1 Aliens M41-A Pulse Rifle
2. 1:1 Alien, Alien Queen & Predator Skulls
3. Executive Officer Kane from Sideshow Collectibles
4. Alien Warrior " " "
5. Alien Newborn " " "
6. Species 'Sil' Marquette " " "
7. Jaws Marquette " " "
8. Alien 1:1 Lifesize Bust by Hollywood Collectibles Group
9. Terminator 2 T-800 Half Scale Endoskull Bust by Toynami
10. 1:1 Endoskeleton arm
11. An original "V" Visitor in box
12. Over 200 original movie posters & Lobby Card Sets (including: Alien
including Pre-release poster, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, AvP,
AvP:Requem & Species), Terminator 1, 2 & 3, CE3K, E.T., V (original series
poster), Bataan (1943- my oldest original), Khartoum (UK original posters
& lobby card set), Sink the Bismarck (one-sheet & 1/2 sheet posters), a
UK & German posters from The Battle of Britain, an original Jaws poster
(my most valuable poster I think), a signed & numbered lithograph
honoring Richard Amsel's Raiders of the Lost Ark art (without the Title of
the movie nor the bottom credits signed by George Lucas & Stephen
Spielberg) and 3 H.R. Giger signed & numbered lithographs (one of the
egg, another of the "Space Jockey" & a gigantic 3-sided view of 'Sil' from
Species).

Like I said, just some of my STUFF because there is just too much to list here!

I'm really into horror films so thats the majority of my collection. I have a few things I'm working on. I have an artist that's going to make me an aged Camp Crystal Lake sign, and Jason's hockey mask from Friday the 13th part III. I'm looking at a T-Virus vial that a company in England makes. Finally I know a guy that's thinking of selling his Army of Darkness chainsaw, and I have first shot at it.

OK, I never saw this thread before until Zippo provided me with a link, awesome thread. These are basically preliminary pics, as I need to clean up the x-mas tree and room of decorations before I can provide really good pics and a pic of the entire wall.

Hey fireman, you have some LOTR swords I see, so let me know what you think of some of the things I got for Christmas......

This is a close-up of the handle of Frodo's sword, Sting.....

This is a view of the entire bust of Sauron......

A closer view of the Sauron bust...notice the One Ring on his finger...very cool.....

Here is a pic of a Ringwraith sword with stand.....

Finally, a pic of Gimli's battleaxe, this thing is VERY heavy.....

Really cool stuff so far, loving the swords.

I don't have too much stuff, but I do have the Blade Replica Sword and the Immortal Mask from 300.

The pic isn't that great, but I plan on updating my gallery in the next few days as my new subwoofer should be arriving and I have added a couple of recliners recently.

Very nice collection of items forsberg. I especially like Gimli's Axe. I didn't even realize there was a sheath and stand available for the Ringwraith's sword.

Thanks, but I have a feeling that this is just the beginning before my entire HT takes on a LOTR theme......luckily my wife really likes the look as well. I am finally letting my inner geek out and decided to pursue this more. My wife and I are big fans of the Renaissance Faire here in PA, as we dress up and do the whole thing a couple of times a year.
