My most anticipated 2010 movies are

1- Alice in Wonderland
2- The Wolfman
3- Iron Man 2
4- Robin Hood
5- Solomon Kane (if it finds a distributor)

Yeah, that's a good point. I can't figure out if it's supposed to be "name what YOU think the top 5 movies are going to be," or "name what you think will be your top 5 i.e. favorite movies"...i had assumed the former.

If we are talking Box Office Revenue, there is no way that Shutter Island cracks the top 5. The Departed, another Scorcese film with big names, racked in $130M+ domestically and about $290M total worldwide.

Iron Man 2 easily eclipses $300M.

My Top 5 Box Office in no specific order are:

HP and The Deathly Hallows pt.1
Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Iron Man 2
Toy Story 3
Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of The Dawn Treader(Not sure about this one

I'm still unsure of whether this thread is asking for top BO films, in which case yes, I concur Iron Man 2 will be up there.

Aug 13th which is a friday the 13th!! I cant wait man! Funny thing is, the last movie I saw in the movie theater was.....Friday the 13th remake! Got Em!!

I can still distinctly remember one of the thoughts I had while walking out of the theater after the first Iron Man: I can't wait for the sequel because a few minor improvements would have made this movie so much better than it already is. More specifically (imo at least), more action sequences in his armor. (not that I'm not a big fan of character development)

From what I understand, I'm pretty sure it's definitely subjective. It clearly says "your" top 5 movies in 2010. Then he lists "my" top 5 movies... not "the nation's" top 5 movies in domestic box office.

Deathly Hallows is coming out in 2010?? But Half Blood isn't even out on BD yet!

Part 1 of DH in 2010 part 2 in 2011. Also HBP comes out next week on blu.

Those are pretty much safe bets.

I'm curious how Nightmare on Elm Street will turn out. I'll probably love The Last Song and Dear John based on the casting and them being Nicholas Sparks adaptations.

Flack if you want, but these are my top films and until I see how 2010 turns out my opinion probably won't change. Also being in the UK looking forward to our release of Toy Story 2 in 3D

The storyline is that Shrek falls into a parallel universe where he never met Fiona, donkey is smart and lord Farquad is still king, I don't know about you but it sounds bad to me
