I wholeheartedly agree. I am a big fan of Don Bluth's work with Disney as well as his independent efforts (Secret of N.I.M.H., An American Tail, The Land Before Time, Anastasia, All Dogs Go to Heaven). Unfortunately, Titan A.E. was a financial disappointment for Fox Animation. But there is not necessarily a direct correlation between quality and box office success—Brad Bird's The Iron Giant is a good example—a box office dud that is considered by many (myself included) to be an animation classic. And Titan A.E. is a far better film than its box office receipts would have you believe. Unfortunately, it also has the distinction of being the film that led to the shuttering of the Fox Animation Studio here in Phoenix. That was a cryin' shame.

Brilliant movie. Big regret was missing this on laserdisc, so would love to pick this up on blu.

Does anyone remember the trailer for this? Had Creed for the soundtrack and it was an amazing trailer. I remember it played in front of Gladiator here in the UK (weirdly), and as I watched that movie a good few times, I saw the trailer a good few times also!

Would love to see this released in blu. Probably not going to happen though. The giant ice crystal scene would sound incredible in HD audio. I may need to give my DVD a spin sometime soon.

I too would love to see this in Blu-ray, but the thread belongs in the "Wish List" forum! As with others, I thought there was release news owing to its forum location.

There are already three Titan AE threads in the Wishlist forum, well make that four now.

Titan A.E. anyone?

I would buy this in a second if it came out on BD. I saw it opening weekend at AMC and there were even illustrators from the movie doing drawings for free. Apparently the studio was based in Phoenix or something like that.
