I live in A condo , So basically the same thing . I have neighbors all around me . My system is A 7.3 at this time . I have great neighbors & just mind my P's & Q's when I should ! When I don't have to worry about bothering anyone Witch is almost everyday at certain times I really get to enjoy it .

I'm the same, condo here.

I just got sick and tired of paying other people's rent, so I figured I'd pay my rent to myself. *LOL*

Mind you we don't have the biggest television for the space {40 incher} but it gets the job done in conjunction with the PS3.

I live in an apartment (condo really). I let my downstairs neighbor know I bought a sound system and to let me know if it's too loud. I have since asked her a couple of times if she can hear it or if it bothers her and she said no. I don't know if that's because she's considerate or if the concrete floors prevent her from hearing it. I hear a subwoofer from the guy I share a wall with, but it doesn't bother me so no problems there.

Apartments are messy business lol. I know I was always worried about being to loud and this was pre blu-ray.

I got yelled at for cleaning my car and was told to take it to a car wash lol.

Haha that sounds exactly like my old crabby ass neighbor a few years back. After I got back from work about 7 pm or so I washed and vaccumed my car with a shop vac and she came out there and told me to do it at a carwash because " she didn't need to hear that so late at night" some ppl just need to stop thinking the world revolves around them.

In between undergrad and grad school, I leased a car. So it was nice going back to the same school for grad school, but now having access to a car all the time.

Except that for some reason my alarm started going off at night, for no reason. The first time I heard it, I thought "oh, that sounds like my car" (VW's have a distinct horn sound), but I ignored it. After a few minutes it'd stop. Then a while later it'd start again, then stop again, etc.

The next morning I woke up, and my battery was dead. I called AAA, they jumped the car, and I was on my way.

A couple days later it happened again.

Called AAA, and was on my way. Except this time there was a note on my windshield, instructing me to "FIX YOU F*CKING CAR".

So I took the car in to get fixed. They claimed it was a faulty sensor on the front passenger door, which made the car think the door was being opened, triggering the alarm.

I take it home, and within the next couple of days, it happens again.

Turns out it was actually the rear passenger door causing the problem.

On a serious note, i live in a condo currently and have no issues with my neighbors hearing my surround sound. I did some tests when i moved to to see how loud i could crank it and hear it from next door/above/below my unit. The answer, volume 70

I usually listen at around 50, so no problems at all.

all my neighbors have been cool when I lived in apartments, Just a few Whiners, who complain to the manager if your dog barks once a month..

Haha, I'm assuming your apartment allows pets then. Because if they don't, I can see why even once a month is an issue.

Well It was "small pets" It was a very nice place Back when I first moved to San Antonio @ about $1100 /month.. I had my cat, and my girlfriends ( at the time ) Little terrier.. Cute little ankle biter dog, but yea, we were throwing the ball around and it was getting excited and started barking.. Must have barked like 20 times within 10 minutes and then an hour later e had a knock on our door, It was the manager giving me a warning.. Which is good because if your caught leaving dog crap any where on the premisis its $50 lololol
