Conclusion to a movie or movies that we're waiting for on blu?....either way, good thread Mr. Amarster. I'm personally waiting for "Saving Private Ryan" and "Apocalypse Now" to be released on blu......both fantastic endings.

I hear "Apocalypse Now" will be released this calendar year. Yipee!!! Hope there's the original AND the "Redux" version on the new release.....can't wait.

On Blu-ray I'd have to go with The Usual Suspects.

T2 Judgement Day
District 9
Inglourious Basterds
Pulp Fiction
No Country For Old Men
There Will Be Blood
The 400 Blows
Fight Club
Slumdog Millionaire
Juno
(500) Days of Summer
Hard Candy
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind
In Bruges
Monster's Inc.
Wall-E
Gladiator

Blade Runner: The Final Cut
The Godfather
The Godfather: Part II
The Prestige
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
There's countless more, but these ones were memorably awesome to me

"Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

Casablanca has perhaps the most perfect ending in movie history.

Hm, a tough choice between:

"Fight Club"
The classic "Planet of the Apes"
"The Mist"

Honorable mentions go to:

"Army of Darkness" alternate ending
"Casino Royale" ("My name is Bond...")
"Eden Log" (something about that tree thing made it worthwhile to me)
"The End of Evangelion"
"A History of Violence" (such sad faces...)
"Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
"Monty Python's Life of Brian" ("Always look on the bright side of life...")
"Resident Evil"
"Resident Evil: Extinction" (
[Show spoiler]Milla Jovovich clones FTW!!
)
"The Road Warrior"
"Soylent Green" (
[Show spoiler]SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!!!
)
"Unbreakable"
"Wanted" ("What the f*** have you done lately?!")

...more or less.

Vertigo - for me the most shocking and jaw dropping ending of all time.

Psycho - nobody could've expected that

Sunset Boulevard - seeing Erich Von Stroheim direct Norma Desmond and that creepy gesture at the end, just mesmerizing.

Chinatown - the most depressing ending in motion picture history
