The fact that the film successfully gaslit everyone into thinking her Elektra movie was underrated when it ruined chances of a female-led CBM for years is probably more funnier than any jokes they did in the film.

1. Catwoman did it first

2. I think the point of the movie was to show some affection to these earlier superhero movies by other studios besides Marvel Studios and acknowledging the few fans that they do have (even though the Wesley Snipes Blade is actually popular).

Elektra did it bigger. To where it's part of the legacy section on Wikipedia.

And what fans? No one liked Garner's Elektra. Even the biggest fans of the 2003 Daredevil movie agree that she was the worst part of it.

They’re out there, especially die-hard Garner fans.

Jennifer Garner's great in Daredevil, and she and Affleck have strong chemistry, so...

Not many people like the Elektra movie, but that's a separate issue.
