Not very many really, though I've only had my blu-ray player since September. Counting discs that I have on the way, the collection is sitting at right about 30.

As far as what interests me? Vague question, but I guess what interests me most is a movie that tells a story in an entertaining, intelligent, captivating way. Which is why, oddly enough, I'm a huge fan of Pixar's work.

I'm also pretty selective about what movies I commit to a full purchase on, and am patient to wait for them to drop in price. I've got a list of 15-20 titles that I'll go picking off a few at a time over the coming months as they become available at prices I feel right paying.

Long story short, out of the list the OP posted, Saving Private Ryan is the only one I'd consider buying, at least during release month. And as it turns out that won't be 'till May. Some, like Avatar and LOTR, I won't be buying at all as I just find them too sci-fi geeky for my taste.

I agree, April will definitely be a big Blu month, it's not like March was a slacker though

March is/was huge as well! (At least for me personally)

also getting The Bad Lieutenant and Traffic (depending on reviews for this one).

I want LOTR so bad, but I know the extendeds will be here eventually, so I'm holding off. Will definitely Netflix it, though.

March is the month that killed me! In April I only want The Lovely Bones and It's Complicated. Possibly Avatar if it's a good price.

As hard as it will be to resist buying LOTR I know I gotta do it because it's a guaranteed double dip otherwise on day one of the extended edition's release.

New releases make most of the revenue for Blu-ray. If I had to guess there is going to be some records set this month (march) with all the huge movies being released. April happens to be the weakest New Release slate (for month) I've seen in years. If it wasn't for Avatar coming out the month would be a total disaster.

Some great releases this april but I'm gonna be holding off for the eventual "ultimate" release of Avatar and the extended LoTRs. I'm in for Apollo 13 and Minority report though.
