Exclamation Poll is not public

Darn it! This a tough one. Criss Cross sounds great. I have been putting off seeing Let the Right One In for far too long. Ungh. Lotsa star power in Just Cause. I am going for 8 1/2.

Dr. Zhivago is not available at Netflix

Whether it wins or not, this movie deserves to be watched at least once.

Never saw it. Thats part of why I picked it.

Seems odd too that Zhivago cant be had via Netflix. Cant buy it, cant rent it.

Nope. There's only a SAVE option at the moment. Which means that Netflix doesn't have any discs of it. That doesn't mean it's checked out by people, it means they dont have any discs to give out.

Well, I nominated 8 1/1 so there is my public statement. Why didn't I vote for Doctor Zhivago, which I nominated? Well, like I said on the other thread, it's not out on Blu yet. Additionally, even though I've seen it on the HDNet Movie Channel in HD (there seems to be some missing minutes in the broadcast), own the DVD and own 2 other versions (the BBC & Russian 10 part TV series), I still want to see the Blu before I talk about it (one of my favorite epic films and I even own the original movie poster and lobby card set).

So I guess you are well prepared to discuss this film then.

Definitely, whenever it wins as a choice! And right now I'm re-watching "Einstein and Eddington" (2008) on HBO Signature HD. It's a really good film and I highly recommend it!!

I voted 8 1/2. I've seen Let the Right One In already (it's fantastic) but 8 1/2 has been at the top of my list for a LONG time now.

I'm tempted to vote for "Dr Zhivago," the other fine David Lean epic picture (and it's been years since I last saw it), but "8 1/2" caught my attention. It's one I haven't seen yet from this selection that I'd want to see the most.

I voted for Doctor Zhivago because it's just a beautiful story and such an epic. I haven't seen Criss Cross or Just Cause but will do so.

I LOVE that poster of Criss Cross! I've never seen it before. Where did you find it, Romulus?
