Thanks for all the responses to the thread and are all very positive. The reason I started the thread was because most of the time I really do feel like I'm one of a small group of people about my age (15-19), who would actually still watch Disney films and thinks that things like Transformers 2 are sh*t and really bad moviesabsolute sh*t., because everone else my age thinks they're brilliant and they're not.

That scene along warranted a PG-13 rating.

Very risky movie... but I did enjoy it. Because it was very mature.
La Bossu du Notre Dame may be one of the most depressing books I ever read in school, if they made THAT into a movie it would be Rated R. I am also not sure how the movie got away with a G rating.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Hugo's novel originally titled "Notre Dame de Paris"?

That's exactly what it is in French, translation "Our Lady Of Paris"

Disney is one of the (very) few companies that make movies our entire family can watch. Disney movies are also a pleasant diversion from the usual cinematic fare of death, murder, mass-extinction, torture, autopsies, etc.

Yeah, doesn't it repetetive and boring after you've seen it umpteen times.

The best way I can put it is good Disney films tend to appeal to the child in all of us, regardless of how old you are.

Well, I still have plenty of friends in their late 20's, early 30's, that will only watch a Disney film if they ARE watching it with kids. One of my friends even had his niece go with him to see The Princess and the Frog because he didn't want to buy a ticket just for himself.

I purchase, and watch plenty at the theater, of these so-called "Children's" films. And I don't have any children. Doesn't make me feel awkward at all. A good, fun movie is a good, fun movie.

Kung Fu Panda is Dreamworks SKG, not Disney.
