They shipped psycho separately a week earlier, and it arrived same day as the frigging rest of the order, and it was badley bent and the spine torn. Amazon frigging game me 2 pounds back for my trouble. Fantastic.
Ive been quite lucky with steelbook packaging. Its strange because most of my orders are from hmv and they just come in a box and theyre rarely dented or scratched. Even my BTTF tin cam in a box and the only thing holding it in place was a piece of plastic wrapping sticking it to the box. But it was mint. Yet the Pacific tin came in a bubble wrap envelope wrapped in bubble wrap paper and still got dented its such a pain in the ass to return and will cost me around £5 to send it back which i wont get refunded so i may aswell have paid the extra money and bought it instore were i could inspect it first!

I guess this is just the luck of the draw!

Default Morrisons £29.99

Hey guys just to let you know Morrisons has The Pacific in-store for 29.99.

On the packaging front I ordered Star Trek TOS from Amazon a while back and it came in a tin which was badly damaged and the case inside was broke into more than a dozen pieces. The Enterprise was in less pieces at the end of Star Trek III The Search for Spock... Shame as it was a birthday present for my sister and the replacement only came in a Matlock box without the tin. I was gutted lol...

I hate receiving damaged Blu-rays

Where did you order from? How come they won't refund you're return postage? HMV and Play (not sure about Amazon) will refund return postage if the item is damaged, I know this as I have had to do it on more than one occasion, it is such a hassle.

Just picked this up from Asda who seem to be price matching Amazon, plus I could check the tin for dents before buying.

Anyway, on the audio front:

English (DTS-HD MA)
French (DTS 5.1)
Castillian Spanish (DTS 5.1)
Latin American Spanish (DTS 5.1)
Polish (DTS 2.0)

Subtitles:

English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Greek, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Castillian Spanish, Latin American Spanish.

Amazon will refund postage, but I think it gets slightly complicated if its heavy like a Band of Brothers boxset. They've also changed their exchange policy when I returned a Star Trek boxset the replacement arrived before I'd posted the damaged boxset back. I think if they don't recieve the damaged item in 28 days they charge you again, so make sure you get proof of posting. I also had a couple of quid refunded. Wasn't to keen on that initially but it was nice to have the replacement so fast.

Bought mine instore at my local Blockbuster yesterday for £29.96.

Like Matt865 said, at least i could check the tin for damage before i purchased it.

I wish that was the case with my BTTF tin i got through the post yesterday from Zavvi with a hugh dent in the front.

Ordered from play.com and the problem is that they refund the postage but u have to put a note in the package when you return it with a postage receipt. so u gota go to the post office, get it weighed, then package it all up. its just a load of hassle. Instead i rather sneakily bought 1 mint pacific tin from hmv yesterday, swapped them over, returned the dented 1 to hmv today, got the money refunded onto a gift card which is fine by me cos ill spend the money in hmv anyway (xmas presents etc.) that way theres no returning hassle and i get to keep the lovely little play exclusive photo book

What idiot designed the cardboard slipcase for the tin???? The flap over the top of the tin is stuck on to the tin so you have to carefully unstick it everytime you want to pull the tin out of the slipcase. Crazy.

I know, stupid ain't it. Mine wouldn't stick down again once i opened it.

I've cut mine off with a pair of scissors, so now it matches the BOB tin.

I just throw those cardboard wrappings away. They're not much use once you've bought the products.
