I just but whatever movie I want the month it comes out, so whatever that would amount to will vary. I have spent over 400 in a month and nothing in a month on blu's. But I have decided I want to make another $15,000 in upgrades to my HT theatre so I am going to try and take it easy on the blu's.

Wife cut me off, and I agreed. Got 80+ in the last 5 months. Will wait until X-mas to put a Wishlist up on Amazon and get family to take care of some. Others, like the ones in my sig. I will buy on Day 1.

If you feel that this info is private and you dont want to post it, thats perfectly fine.

I will start. I try to spend no more and no less than 100$ per month on building up my blu ray collection. I wonder were I stand compared to other people?
That's about my budget as well. I usually try to pick up catalog titles after price drops. Usually buy from 3rd party sellers on Amazon to try to get'em under the $15 mark. I very rarely buy first day for movie titles as they always tend to run around the $20-25 range and that's horseshit. But I will pre-order box sets, because most of the time, those prices will go up after release day instead of down, so I try to lock in a good pre-order price.

Hmm, that said, I see Avatar is back up to $19.99. I'm wondering what the Nov. Deluxe Edition will go for.

The thing is with me though, is that I need to buy me a new TV as my '07 LCD developed some ghost imaging in the screen. When I first got into Blus, I left The Clone Wars movie on Pause for a logn time without my player's screensaver on, and ever since, it seems that particular screen burned a ghost image into my TV. But I didn't think that LCDs were supposed to get burn-in. However, with that said, my computer LCD montor developed vertical lines in it all the way across the screen approx. 2" appart from one another. The lines themselves are 1/8" wide that fade into little lines to the right. They're only visible in certain circumsatances. Mostly in games that have a lot of similar gradiated color in the same area, such as sky textures or such. And that's more or less the same case with my regular TV as well. Only really visible with similar gradiated color areas.

I don't have a specific budget, but I spend around $100/month.

On Black Friday, I plan on spending 3-4 times that in one day, though, depending on what goes on sale.

Exact story happened to me.
I am a student, with no job, yet I have spent about 200$+ last month, which is twice as higher than I would usualy spend, financing them by my tution loan and grants.

I think most people have spent more than usual in June as there were great sale prices last month.

My monthly budget for any "extra" expenses (including movies of any kind) is about $100 - $150 a month, at the most.

I don't have a budget either. It's hard to say because I pre-order a ton! I guess $250.00 maybe a month.

I almost hesitated when I starting typing this when I was thinking what to say, but the truth is I don't have one. I just buy whatever BD I'm in the mood to own.
