yeah but it is more than 20 episodes with LOADS of High Def and SD extras, plus first of a kind BLU JAva extras...I dont watch much prime television, but I may get it since everyone at work has been bugging me about watching this show! I would assume Crazy Amazon would sell it for nearly 30-40% off...yeah they're crazy like that~ So expect an Amazon shelf price of probably $79

They are out on DVD. They are starting with this season on BD. Which I have to say is the most annoying thing with BD so far. I watched only one episode of the first season, so I would like to start from the beginning.

3rd Rock from the Sun
Cool New Lost Season 3 Specs just announced by Disney

http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...n_Blu-ray_/917

1080p transfers and uncompressed PCM 5.1 Surround audio on all 22 episodes. + BD-Java enhanced interactive features

I wonder how "different" the show will look and feel in 1080P24 vs. ABC's 720P60?

1080P and Uncompressed PCM are going to rock but at 124.99$ the BD set is double the price of the DVD set... thank god J6P doesnt own BD yet and it's mostly early adopters out there because otherwize, this kind of difference would have them (J6P) running for the hills.

At least when they re-release Seasons 1 & 2, it won't be so blatantly obvious because the DVD box sets were released years ago and won't be side by side with the new BD ones...

Now how about Alias BD complete (Seasons 1-5) all @ 1080P and all with uncompressed 5.1 PCM for 199.99$ common Disney... you can do it! Especially with all that xtra scratch you are going to get from Lost BD sets

I'd have to say that I would rent a disc or two first before dropping the money on this one, especially since it is money that I don't have atm. I think all of the extra features will make it a must by once the price comes down.

it come for about 78$ at Amazon.com with the rebate... it's more than usual, but at least it won't be macroblock filled like the DVD versions and the Broadcast Version (DIgital Cable here), i hope

BTW this is filmed at 24fps, ABC is doing 3:2 pulldown to 60fps...

I'm wayyyyyyyy to excited now that they introduced the new "flashes"... I don't want to spoil it for anyone that has yet to see it... But it's amazing, and fresh.

I missed this whole season. I was moving and missed 3 episodes at the beginning, so I decided to just wait it out.

Lost S3 can't come fast enough.

Price drop! (TDB)

Quote:
Blu-ray fans will be pleased to learn that Buena Vista has lowered the SRP of their forthcoming Lost: The Complete Third Season (due on 12/11) to just $96.99. That's down from the originally announced price of $130.
