This is great, I was able to pre order the blu set since Tuesday, I was pre ordering POTC 3 and I just happen to stumble upon it, so I couldnt help it and pre ordered it.

*Lots of Great Blu-ray announcements already coming out
*Lots of Blu-ray exclusivities announced this week alone
*There's bound to be some really great deals for Blu-ray to not only beat-up but SMASH the "other format"

I'd love to get this too. Now I will never have my damn Visa paid off! What I can't figure out is why on earth they decided to start with Season 3. I've noticed this trend on high def. The Sopranos was season 6, part 1, and Smallville will be season 6 I believe as well. What gives?

Its stupid at first, but when you think about it - it makes sense. Season 3 is due out on SDVD so they start there with Blu. Most people have S1/2 on SDVD already (least the die hard fans).

They start with the new and then work backwards with the old.

Now it makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. I just hope if and when Fox releases the X-Files on Blu Ray, they start that in order. I own every season and the movie on DVD and would willingy pick these up as well.

I was an avid x-files watcher for the first year or so. After that my life when chaotic and I never watched it since. I decided last year to finally start over and purchased Season 1 on dvd. Again, I was hooked and continued. Through the course of several months, I had purchased and watched the entire x-files years.

As much as I would love/hate to purchase it again, I don't know if it will be coming to Blu. Would be nice but not sure.

They would/should start from the beginning since there are no new episodes coming. I really wish they would have continued with it, but I think they stopped before it got too corny.

Lost Season 3 was announced today on Blu-Ray disc for December 11th. It will include 1080p & PCM 5.1 on all episodes. The disc art should be available shortly, and it's available for pre-order on Amazon right now. I got my information from highdefdigest.com.

Now if they would just release Season 1 & 2.
