I KNOW!! But what's more annoying is when you DON'T put that, then some jerks quotes you to tell you that it's your opinion.

Ok, I'm noticing a trend hear. Maybe I'm just an angry person.

So my neighor offers to watch my house for me, while I'm in Wisconsin. Feed my cat too. So I'm like great.

I just found out from another neighbor, while I was gone, the guy used my pressure washer, and then lent it to another neighbor, for them to wash off there driveways. They used it for like 6 hrs. They also used my shop vac!

I MEAN C'MON! WHO THE "F" DOES THAT!?

Sure, he helped me out, but that doesn't give him free reign to route through all of my stuff! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Seems he might of had a hidden agenda when he offered....I guess you were not good friends with him before this?

Dude, crap sure does roll down hill, huh? I hope your streak of bad luck changes real soon!

That would pi$$ me off. He could have at least asked to use it. The fact that he used it and lent it out without your permission is just wrong. I would have a talk with him.

If I get the job that I've lined up, something tells me I'll be starting a "Do we have a I love my life and everyone on earth thread!"

Until then, I'm gonna be grumpy, but I really do feel justified.

My copies of Watchmen and Coraline arrived yesterday. I hate stickers on slip covers. Can't they put the stickers on the plastic wrap used to seal the slip covers. It's always a pain to peel them off, and you usually get the glue residue sticking to the case.

It bugs the hell out of me when members on this site post +1 .....and that's it.

I mean, say something else, not just, +1. That doesn't add to the discussion.

Of course I fully expect someone to quote this and put +1

What about posting with thousands of smilies in just one post? That kind of takes a while to load.

I REALLY NEED TO VENT

Ive been informed that someone in the Office of Admissions for my college has DELETED my schedule for the fall semester....which starts next week I might add.

Their reason for doing so?
"Oh you didn't come to orientation."

They, of course, mean the orientation I was told I did not need to attend SIX separate times from different positions in the University (since I was present at one last year when I went for some early classes). Each time making absolutely sure they were positive about what they were telling me.

So what do they say when I tell them all of this and that it was completely their fault?
"We cannot drop students that are already in the classes."
Even though they did just that to me.

So now they say "We are going to do our best to get you back the schedule you had before".
So I go ahead and check the schedule they have for me, not one class is the same, and I have a break from 10:30 - 1:30 with NO classes. And I am there from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for THREE one hour classes. They have me at the university virtually all day, and it takes me about 45 minutes to get back to my town from there. So there would be no time for me to work with this schedule they offered me. Which my original schedule was set up perfectly for me to be able to have a part time job (as soon as I can find one).

I tell them that they are at fault in this situation (which one of the people I talked to in the Office of Admissions agreed completely with me) and they need to put my schedule back.

They again tell me they can't drop a student from a class once they are in the class, and I tell them again "You did it to me."
But of course, I get the usual BS that drones working for corporate businesses feed you all the time, you know the "protocol" for dealing with people (they might as well have been reading from a script), but this time it is coming from a facility of higher learning....

Needless to say, I don't even know if I am a student anymore right now and needed to do some immense amounts of venting.

Also I might add, that I have had my schedule in place and activated since early June, and have a full paid scholarship that has already been credited to my fees and my refund check for extra tuition was supposedly on its way.

Wow, that really sucks. My worst college moment was when I confirmed with my adviser in February 06 that I was on track to graduate in December 06, he said yes but he'd double check and get back to me if I wasn't, and finding out in November that I hadn't taken some required classes and couldn't graduate. With the help of the head of the business department I argued my way into only having to take 1 class in the spring but it was still a pain to be told I had everything that was needed and find out later he never actually checked and I was short credits.

That sucks as well
Its good that you got some sort of "quick" resolution to the thing though.

I tried to avoid having any problems with my schedule and attendance and everything (because ever since I was about 10, there would be SOMETHING about my school schedule that would be screwed up, every single year).

I've called and talked to the people at least once a week since graduating highschool in may and everything was always fine and I was good to go.
Yea well, apparently not.

I have a professional background etc... Well... I send resume, Cover letter, Salary History, etc... he forwards it to his "Higher-up Contact person" and next thing I know, he's talking to me about a retail position making barely over minimum wage at one of this company's retail store locations...... reporting to an assistant mgr nonetheless.....

I told him that he was talking about a position that paid less than I could afford to work for..... (we actually paid our nanny more than this job would pay me ) I didn't give him specifics, but politely told him I would continue to look for available jobs at the Corporate office which would be a better fit for my skills-set, and left it at that.....
I can't believe it happened again! I applied for a senior position as I've got supervisory skills.

I get called to interview a field job. They wanted me to go door to door and convince people to lock into the current price of natural gas! At least this time, I expressed my lack of interest early, and was out of the interview in 12 minutes.
