In my experience a huge percentage of HD owners are also Blu owners

We're a bad sample, because especially with HD they tend to be people who buy every new gadget day 1, or people with less money and the same amount of sense with no patience

I dunno. Maybe I have less money now since Blu-ray was released. Since last fall, I have bought a Panasonic set top Blu-ray player, a PS3, two Panasonic plasma screens (58" and 65"), a new Panasonic PT-AX100U HD front projector, a new 7.1 surround system with HDMI switching, a LaCie 50GB BD-R burner, three Panasonic HVX-200 P2HD cameras with six 8GB and four 16GB P2 cards, a new Dual eight-core CPU Intel Mac, a dual-core MacBook Pro, upgrades to Final Cut Studio 2, a new quad-core PC, Adobe CS3 production suite, lots of blank Panasonic BD-R and BD-RE discs (both 25GB and 50GB), and nearly 100 Blu-ray disc movie and TV titles.

Can you tell I love Blu-ray?

If I'm not watchin 'em, I'm burnin 'em.

Ah ha ha ha HA!!!! Good one. Sorry, I don't read fiction. The only think HD DVD can hope for is to try to be like the Bee Gees and just stay alive. You're funny.
