I don't buy that for a minute. If that was the case, they would have released a DVD only to give that "Grindhouse" experience. Option one seems more plausible.

. I think you'll find both the cut and uncut versions of Planet Terror released in Germany ended up with an 18 rating. At least that's what I recall, and if true the 18 rating really doesn't indicate anything of substance as to which cut it will be. The run time on the other hand is a different story and indicates it'll be the uncut version.

![]() It does seem kind of odd that you can go on AZ in Germany and see ads & ppl's fav lists w/ porn-galore, but the same country censors movies like PT & Total Recall I know that Europeans are notoriously cooler and a lot less uptight w/ regards to things like sexuality than we are here in the states, but it seems a little amiss It's kinda like Wal-mart selling censored CDs but uncensored DVDs...
