I don't buy that for a minute. If that was the case, they would have released a DVD only to give that "Grindhouse" experience. Option one seems more plausible.

I said that there is an uncensored version in Germany of Planet Terror

about the Grindhouse Steel i'm not sure if both versions are uncut

bluray-disc.de says they are uncut. I got my doubts, just pure math...

I think it's fairly safe to say that neither movie will be censored
It's got an FSK 18 logo on it
plus AZ has their generic "won't ship this to minors" tag on the item page

. I think you'll find both the cut and uncut versions of Planet Terror released in Germany ended up with an 18 rating. At least that's what I recall, and if true the 18 rating really doesn't indicate anything of substance as to which cut it will be. The run time on the other hand is a different story and indicates it'll be the uncut version.

It does seem kind of odd that you can go on AZ in Germany and see ads & ppl's fav lists w/ porn-galore, but the same country censors movies like PT & Total Recall
I know that Europeans are notoriously cooler and a lot less uptight w/ regards to things like sexuality than we are here in the states, but it seems a little amiss
It's kinda like Wal-mart selling censored CDs but uncensored DVDs... I don't get it

Amazon.de states the run time as being; 183 minutes. Isn't the double feature 191 minutes, or are they not including the trailers
