whoa! I've been wanting to see this after watching Troll 2. Making it 3D is a little much, I don't think it has THAT big of a cult following, but whatever. Hope they stay on schedule and release it by the end of the year.

Met Wiseau at a midnight screening in NYC a few weeks ago. Didn't have a chance to ask about the BD release though. Perhaps next time I go.

Someone on IMDB's THE ROOM message board said there's an announcement on THE ROOM's FB. I don't use FB (and I'm at work where it's banned).

This is from IMDB:

"Also, The Room on Blu-Ray is scheduled for a January, 2012 release. Wiseau-Films is working around the clock very diligently. They are literally spending every waking hour on this Blu-Ray. Consider yourselves lucky."

If they plan on shoveling this out in January then it looks to be a rush job but that is how Wiseau-films does its magic

Honestly, the enjoyment of this film has burned out for me. I tried watching it again recently and it hit me that the magic is gone. All I'm left with is a awful film whose incidental jokes have gone terribly stale.
