It's because the disk are and will be completely region free, bluray will be region coded into 3 or 4 different regions once 1.1 is installed.
My God why now worrying about how much the disc and the box weights or the Color of the Print ? does it have sales cuppons inside ?

Actually thinking deeper by having more space theres no need for 2 discs, just with one you can do it, so it weights less...

do you live in different regions ? do you happen to move a lot ? do you leave your hardware where you used to live ? dont you have internet to ship the things you want wherever you are ?

Just letting you know that point its not valid

asking questions, learning, and knowing is not being stubborn... i consider it uniqueness. being open to all aspects... in other words worldly

Well i actually know spanish and its my first language, but the main studio movies we see in Blu-ray (you also do) are from region 1 with subtitles and a lot of French and Spanish Dolby Audio Tracks (most of them have them)

Men i love those old Chinese KungFu films (wish i talked Chinese or Japanese)
but they wont be in Blu-ray and even if they were they have to do it in diferent regions for diferent markets like me...

Who has more Disc Space? bluray... i'm not even going to get into that stupid 51GB disk hddvd keeps talking about it's just dumb.
Who has more Studio Support? if you count every single studio out there Hddvd does... i think they have 32 and bluray has 28
Who has more Hardware Brands standalones... i think bluray has confirmed 9 or 10 brands making blurays this season, hddvd i believe has 7 brands confirmed for this season
Who has more software titles ? available at this moment bluray, capable hddvd
Who sells more ? at this moment bluray
Technically we talked about it, but whos far more supperior ? at the moment hddvd in my opinion, capable bluray
so you say knowing its not stubborn its uniqueness ? yes, because not everyone would know the answers to those questions or be unbiased enough to tell you so...
don't quote me on numbers though they are approximates i can't think of exact numbers i can look them up for ya though if you would like

ohh i forgot to mention i would go with the korean car... better gas mileage, better on the earth, and not as costly... they all have one job to get you from point a to point b

Come on man, we need him to support Blu-ray, imagine someone as stubborn as this guy that gets for once the Blu-ray Facts and benefits telling others about how good its Blu-ray ?

Give him a chance he told us he has Blu-ray and sold HD-DVD (dont know why he acts like that)... but hes just defending his posture and we gotta respect that
