Having seen many of the Blue Underground Blu-ray titles, I would very much recommend the quality of their transfers.

I generally hate horror movies, hence why there are so few in my collection. I will say that the first Alien movie looks and sounds great!

I hear that. My pj will throw a 220" picture, but 100" is all the wall space will allow for and placement of my speakers. One day I'll have space, one day.....

The all time greatest looking horror film currently on Blu-ray is Let The Right One In. It's a work of art.

That really depends on era, shooting format (aspect ratio, digital or film and what format of each, color or black and white) and style. You cannot really compare say M to something more recent like I Saw the Devil; just as comparing a digitally shot mockumentary like The Last Exorcism to the film shot Bereavement is not really fair. I mean Night of the Hunter looks amazing and a fantastic job was done on it but Alien also got top shelf treatment, yet it has the benefit of better equipment in a different era 24 years after Night of the Hunter.

I do love me some 'so bad its good' horror but I don't have multi region player yet so stuck to region B only. Although the PQ only got 3 and a half on this site so is it really better than LTROI?

It's a 32 inch Emerson LCD. It was like 275 at walmart. and after buying the HDMI cord and the warranty it cost me about 350 or so. The cord was 30 and the warranty cost 20 for 2 years. It's my first HD tv I've owned. Figured I had the blu ray first back in March, now i need to up grade my tv aswell.

1. House of 1000 Corpses
2. The Shining
3. Friday The 13th Part II

Honorable Mention:
Halloween (1978)
Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)... Yes. If you've ever seen a print of this movie, then you know the BD is awesome looking.

The WORST:
Scream
