I really enjoyed the first one for some reason, the second movie was good not great, i hope the third one will be atlest as good, because if so then i will definately check it out.

Agreed and their scores are incredibly catchy too. Very fun films and love RDJ's narration in both.

Can't wait to see it in cinemas and also own the Blu-ray.

Awesome news! Loved the first two and was getting worried that they had abandoned this franchise. Also great to hear that they are trying to make this the best one.

Nice to see it's not dead, was a bit let down by Game of Shadows, but I enjoyed it more second time through. That run through the forest and the final game of "chess" are really cool though.

The first one is still one of my favorite popcorn action films of recent memory. I've definitely dropped off rewatching films in recent years(weirdely enough as my film collection grew), but I've seen that one at least six-plus times.

“We’re working on a Sherlock Holmes 3 script” Wigram explained. “I think we would all love to do one if we could come up with something that really was really going to knock it out of the park and was going to be the best of the three. So we’re working on that – it’s quite hard to do.”

As for whether Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law would be game for reprising their roles as Holmes and Watson, Wigram simply said “Very. Very.”

I'm in the minority but I like the second more than the original (which I like a lot).

I really enjoyed both of the Guy Ritchie 'Sherlock' films we've got so far. I'm absolutely excited about this news after RDJ confirmed the 3rd was happening last year.

And count me as one of the people who felt Game of Shadows was just as great, if not slightly better than the 2009 film. Give me this damn sequel already!
