Yeah it's the only one that I could see on first viewing. Looks like a mastering problem then .

Maybe its a license issue. A lot of the catalog titles being released have no special features. The expensive & hard part , remaster the film in HD, is already been done. How hard is it to slap some DVD features on the master disc before production begins? lazy.

Looks like us - keep all features. Internationally bare bones. I.e. Chinatown.

if u pre ordered this make sure u double check u order if u were charged 8 or 6.66 vat removed if outside the uk and not 9.99 or 8.33 if outside the uk. on the release day the price droped for a short time to 8 pounds but it was to late for the system to update the price and it didn't auto credit back the price diffence i had to get on live chat to get my credit back.

If either Zavvi, or just UK stores in general, get the timed exclusive US Walmart blue steel-book I'll definitely pick it up;

Although I might just order it when it becomes available on Amazon.com in February.

Australia UK or US, that is the question?

I am doing an order from Amazon UK and was going to include the Zoolander UK release with the order.

However, now I am thinking of importing from the US, after investigating further, as the UK has an issue with the mastering of some women in the picture?
And the talk of white specks here and there, probably meaning print damage from the scanned negative (which I noticed a lot on Australian AVC version of the The Usual Suspects), leads me to believe the US may be the way to go.

US has extras (which is not that important to me), as we have the DVD, but I noticed the bit rate for the US was way down (22.86 Mbps) on the UK (34.46 Mbps).

Does anyone happen to own both and they can let me know which they think is better for PQ?

Either way, can I get any thoughts on the PQ of the UK scan?

Note: I don't mind some instances of white specks, dirt and scratches, as long as their is little to no DNR and the grain field is kept intact.

Bought the US. Don't think the UK would be much different or any better and it seems people are content with the US version; and does not have issues.
