Not a Day 1 purchase for me, but still a good film that I will be buying at some point. Hope it gets a good transfer too, while there is more to life than just being really, really, really, ridiculously good looking, that doesn't mean Paramount can use this quote as an excuse to make the film's transfer look average or downright terrible.

Looks great, can't wait to buy this on blu-ray and retire my well-worn DVD copy.

For the love of God, why can't we get Starsky & Hutch AND this released in AMERICA...you know the place where the films were originally released??
Are we going to have to wait until Zoolander 2 comes out in 2014 for a BD release?
Don't get me wrong I love the UK, but can't understand why the US misses out on soooo many Universal catalogs!

We miss out on loads of catalogues though, plenty of Warner and most MGM ones. On the whole you get more. Three Universal catalogues I can think of that we got first (Bridget Jones, About a Boy, Billy Elliot) were British films too. At the end of the day, region free players are your friend (and Universal titles are region free anyway)

Oh there are a lot more titles than that, but I'm not here to create lists. I realize it will, most likely, be region free but I don't feel I should have to import. That's just me. About the only thing I do import are steelbooks as there is no chance they will pop up in the US(short of the rare new release ie. Scarface).
I'm still clinging to the small sliver of hope that this release date will also be linked to a US release date....AND we get a steelbook!!

They seriously couldn't photoshop him any further so that he's touching the edges of the case

I know, really, they could have at least scooted him a little to the right

Here's hoping that this release, thou silly and pointless, has a really good Video and Audio transfer (or upgrade), it honestly DOES deserve that; It would look and sound amazing, AND... make it REGION FREE please

I wish they would include an unrated version of the film or a director's cut, or whatever. This film had to be re-cut like 7 times to avoid an R rating.

You might want to stop crying about how Universal doesn't release the movies you want.

This is a Paramount film.

Technically I never said Zoolander was a Universal film, ditto Starsky & Hutch just wondered why we in the US have to wait for Universal catalogs.
Also, for the record, I wasn't crying when I typed that.
I think that pretty much covers everything!

I'm betting it's going to be region-free. As long as that's the case, I'll be happy. Importing from Amazon.co.uk is painless.
