Why is anyone of you concerned about how long we decide to wait for a price drop? We've waited years. A few months extra is hardly the end of the world. We have the right to set our own price-points and adhere to them. I refuse to pay more than 10 dollars for a single catalog title. Not sure why anyone would lose sleep over that.

And to answer "what's another 5 bucks", continually doing so certainly adds up over time.
I've burned plenty of money hastily picking up titles without being patient to see how much all retailers would be charging for it
or having the bad luck to pick up something just prior to a sale elsewhere. I've set up parameters to avoid these issues in the future.

I'm dying to see the list of the new extras! Oh, the possibilities!
Prior featuettes and commentary are already paid for and produced by anchor bay so I'm sure they'd port them over.

I'm going to wait until the new special features are announced (and to see if the DVD features are ported over).

I'm okay paying $20 for 2 and 3 each, but 4 and 5 feel more like $12 titles (plus there isn't the added incentive to support a new venture - Scream Factory).

Is that waiting worth 2 cups of coffee and an donut?.

I am buying them the minute they come out as well. I've waited long enough for these cult classic films to get HD.

I'm going to wait.. preordered Nightmare 2/3 and like a week later it was $5 cheaper on Amazon. Plus Halloween 5 is towards the bottom of the series in my opinion. Might get 4 before 5.

IMO - two quality horror films that are genuinely scary. If you don't count Part 3 and just totally forget Resurrection exists - the original Halloween catalog is pretty much tops, IMO.

I preorder both 4 and 5. Im hoping the price drops, and if it doesnt drop, I can cancel the pre-order. Either way, im not going to watch them until the Fall, so if it doesnt drop by the release day, I'll order them by the time H2 and H3 come out in September

Like when I waited to get Fright Night because the twilight time website was screwy?

*scrolls through EBAY looking at $115+ Used BDs of Fright Night.

I kid. I'll grab 'em in September/October in time for my Marathon of the series. Excluding Resurrection because it doesn't exist... ah, maybe I'll watch it just to laugh at how dreadful it is. I've got the 3 film Curse/H20/Resurrection Alliance import disc.

They probably will drop, and even if they don't... I'm going to buy them. Halloween is pretty much one of my favorite horror franchises of all time, and the very first Halloween movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. I will be adding these to my collection regardless!

Unless you buy from a place with a pretty good price-match guarantee...

Ok, so everyone's definition of what they'll pay for this is different. As long as you buy it...who cares. I'm just one who has these titles at the top of a short list of Day 1 pick-ups. I have certain criteria to keep me from busting my budget on day 1 stuff. Fortunately for me, Halloween and Phantasm films are top tier, immediate pickups for me. Something like Critters and Night of the Living Dead are just gonna wait till it hits what I'm comfortable with or find a time when I'm sick of waiting. I waited forever to pickup Predator for less than $10....

Day 1 purchase for me for sure. I'd be interested in seeing what price Best Buy has for release day. Usually new releases are discounted. But then again, will these titles be in short supply. Decisions, decisions...
