Oh and it really sucks that the MSRP is MORE for Dial M For Murder because of the 3D-BD,while Strangers On a Train has the better features but is less.
Yeah, but all the features are ported from prior DVD releases. The expense and risk of releasing a 3D catalog title is far higher, hence the higher MSRP.

Yeah, that would definitely be nice.

A Target or BB digi would be really nice.

I agree. As much as I would love to see Dial M for Murder in 3D, I doubt I will ever own a 3D Blu-ray player and TV to watch it on. So I'd rather buy a BD only release and save some money.

Buy it anyway. It'll have the 2D, and you never know...They'll getcha in the end, sooner or later.

Nice to see these coming finally. Strangers on the Train was the first DVD I purchased. I prefer its cover. These covers are just as bad as the recently released Rebecca, Notorious and Spellbound. I'd love to know what exec gave these the OK. Oh well minor issue overall.

I am very pleased Warner is releasing Dial M for Murder in 3D. It was disappointing that Paramount didn't do the same with Hondo.

3D, what a laugh, horrible covers. Great news about the movies coming to BD Hopefully better covers to come in EU or Scandinavia.

Releasing DIAL M FOR MURDER to Blu-ray in its original 3-D, with a rumored upcoming 3-D Blu-ray of HOUSE OF WAX, is the first step in convincing me and likely numerous other collectors that a 3-D TV or even 3-D projector might be worth the upgrade. As soon as those two titles are joined by original 3-D editions of HONDO, CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, REVENGE OF THE CREATURE, IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE, KISS ME KATE, MISS SADIE THOMPSON, and maybe a few others, it will be time.

I sure wouldn't buy a 3-D TV just to watch HUGO and a few digital cartoons or even TITANIC, fun as they are in 3-D, but with a decent selection of classic 3-D on Blu-ray I'd be far more likely to upgrade to 3-D and might even decide to get some of the recent 3-D productions in their 3-D editions. (Might even break down and get AVATAR, which is only worth watching for its 3-D.)

Of course I will buy it. I was just stating my displeasure about spending more money for something I won't use.

Knowing WB, they'll release a single disc 2D version of Dial M for Murder.

I agree. Those MGM ones are way worse than these Warner ones. Luckily Nissen's got my back.

This is exactly how I feel. I don't have a 3-D TV yet, however, releasing the classics you mentioned in 3-D will definately convince me to upgrade my set.

Why do Hitchcock Blu covers always suck?

Still, I like the idea of being able to have a Blu double-feature of Dial "M" and A Perfect Murder this fall.

Yeah, but then you just end up realizing how much better Perfect Murder would have played if they didn't kiss up to the Lifetime Network "Wife fights back" card, and let the David Suchet detective
[Show spoiler]find the key
and cat-and-mouse Douglas like he's SUPPOSED to in the play.

I agree that the ending is disappointing, but it's still a well-made modern interpretation of the original, and has a great cast.
