iCarly officially ending. New spin-off shows for Sam, Cat and Gibby. - Blu-ray Forum

For anyone on here who likes iCarly or Victorious on Nickelodeon, or has kids that like either shows this is some important news.

iCarly is officially ending. The last episode of iCarly will air this November and will be titled, "iGoodbye". The show ran for 6 seasons. After iCarly ends Dan Schneider will produce 2 spin-off shows. One for the characters Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) and Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande) called "Sam and Cat". The show will be about the two characters becoming roommates and starting a babysitting business to fund their adventures. The second spin-off show will be about Gibby Gibson (Noah Munck) from iCarly which has the working title "Gibby". The show will be about Gibby Gibson who gets a gig at a recreational center where he winds up as a mentor to four offbeat middle-school students. Both pilots are to begin production sometime this summer.

Even though i'm not the demographic I personally love iCarly and am very sad and even a little upset to see the show ending so soon. I just hope the series finale answers all of the questions fans want to know. The spin-off shows sound fine, but I still have trust in Dan Schneider since he's created so many of my favorite childhood/nostaligic shows like: All That, Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, and of course iCarly and Victorious. I just hope that Dan Schneider and Nickelodeon get it right since they're ending their most popular live action show that so many fans don't wanna see end so soon.

Victorious won't be the same without her.

It hasn't been confirmed if Ariana is leaving Victorious. And Victorious for sure isn't ending yet. But Ariana has been confirmed to star in the spin-off. Maybe she'll do both?

Well, Miranda Cosgrove was still on Drake and Josh when iCarly started until their show ended. So my guess is that Ariana will still be on Victorious because that girl is funny.

Also, I'm sad that iCarly is ending too. The fact that the show is centered on my hometown is what got me to first start watching it years ago.

I used to watch those old Nick shows from the 90's and I admit I watch Victorious.

My Younger sister actually watches all these new Nick Shows.

My younger sister watches all of the new shows as well, and she got me to watching them because Nickelodeon is the only thing that's on TV when she's home. The last new show I liked watching was Drake & Josh. When that ended I quick watching Nick, but then I was bored one day and watched a few iCarly episodes and now i've seen every episode. Same goes with Victorious.

I'm 22 and love Victorious, I still laugh at episodes I've watched multiple times. The only other one I watch is iCarly, I can't get into any others now.

My kids watch this show. What I don't get is you have these kids, living in a penthouse in Seattle, without any parental supervision. If anyone should get a spinoff, it's Spencer. He's the best on that show.

Spencer in his own series could work, but probably not on Nick, which caters to a younger demographic. Personally, I don't mind Spencer in small doses, but he needs his sister Carly to make some of his shenanigans and predicaments work with the audience. I don't think I would watch a Spencer-only production.

I always assumed their dad sent them money considering Spencer doesn't even work.

Hard to believe that iCarly had a six-year run. The writing this season wasn't as strong as in the past, but this series will be missed once it goes off-the-air. I'll take a wait-to-see approach with Sam and Cat's new series, as well as Gibby's; if neither of these pan out, I'll stick with Disney's Good Luck Charlie as long as it remains on the schedule.

My wife loves it and she's 25, and I pretend to be too old and mature to enjoy stuff like that, but I always laugh when she has it on. It could be very funny at times.

Lol nothing wrong with that. I don't know too many people that watch the show like I do, but I do know a few people that think it's funny. I've always watched kid/teen shows like these two but there's not many now that I like.

I realized yesterday that a couple weeks ago they had already finished this season, as they had their wrap party or whatever. So unless they do a movie in the future, this season isn't closed out like it's the last season.

Good to know I'm not the only one then. I actually have the volumes of Victorious. They need to bring Jake and Josh to dvd. It was funny that they had a flashback of Drake and Josh on Victorious.

Dan Schneider always goes meta with his own shows. There was an episode of iCarly where Miranda Cosgrove's character was watching Miranda Cosgrove's character on drake & Josh.

Lol I think that's one of the episodes I haven't seen. I have all the DVDs too I just haven't watched them yet since I've seen most of the episodes.

I'm surprised the seasons aren't on DVD of Drake & Josh, I looked and it's a bunch of those 'best of' ones instead. I only watch it once in a while because it's never on when I'm watching TV, but I always recognize people I didn't know of then.

I love when they do that. And on What I Like About You, Amanda Bynes was watching All That/The Amanda Show and/or her stand up when she was little.
