i bought about 25 blus without watching them first. its going to take a few times of me getting burned on a movie i dont like (not saying a bad movie just one i dont like) before i start renting first again. dont really see it being a problem though, i love blu and i love to collect movies. up to 63 in about 9 months.

Apocalypto, Casino Royale, Planet Earth, Letters From Iwo Jima, Troy.
I only 9 titles so far.
I am trying to not buy any titles I already own on dvd.
I bought POTC 1&2 which I had.
I have Blade Runner and Spidey Trilogy on preorder which I currently own.
I also own no kubrick movies, so i will be buying them all soon.
Hope to have 20 by years end at least.
Getting harder to justify with a child on the way.

so far, i've had enough time to watch underworld and bhd. both were not only excellent movies, but INCREDIBLE looking and sounding on blu.

90% of my purchase on Blu-ray movies I have never seen before. Most of them I end up liking, only a few I end up trading.

I have never done this since I don't like to waste money on something I might end up thinking is garbage.

I think I will do it for Rescue Dawn though, as I was unable to see it in theatres and am having quite a bit of trouble finding a high quality version to download.

Since the specs are so good at least I know I will be getting a high quality disc. Also it has Bale so the movie can't possibly be that bad.

Apocalypto was the first blu-ray I bought. I had never seen it before I bought it, but I heard mixed reviews about it. It is my favorite movie so far.

Black Book... and I love it!
Usually I try to rent the ones that I have never seen before and might be skeptical about... or think they might just be a 1 time watch. If they're great I end up buying them along with the ones that I want anyways.

Also, you can add Ratatouille to my list, since I just preordered it.

Default Only one..

Ooops 2. I have 9 films so far. 2 I bought blind were Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City Music Hall, it fills up the whole screen and Radio City looks amazing on a big screen TV, not to mention that its a great concert. The other was Blue Planet Imax which I thought wasnt very good. I do want to get Blue Planet:Seas of life though. Their special on creatures from the deep was amazing.

Having seen 4 Kubrick films, I've hated all but one, Full Metal Jacket. A Clockwork Orange, 2001, The Shining: 3 movies I'd consider being physically tortured to avoid having to watch them again.

On the topic of movies I've never seen but now own on Blu-Ray, of the 31 I own, I'd only seen a grand total of 11 before buying them.
I hear that! Thats why I wanted Jack to take her ass out . The best scene in that whole movie is when hes backing her up the stairs and says "I'm just gonna bash your brains in, right the F*** in." I love that scene. However, I love every kubrick film. The only 1 I have not seen is 2001. But with all my gift cards to Amazon I will be picking up all of them. I just don't understand where one flew over the cuckoo's nest is. That movie is amazing!

Apocalypto, Flags Of Our Fathers, Spider-man 3 and Full Metal Jacket Deluxe Edition is on its way. Loved the first three on the list, and from everything I've read about it, I'm sure I'll enjoy FMJ as well.

I used to always Netflix and check before buying. That was fine for the slower period at the beginning of the year.

Now that the release schedule has picked up, Netflix can't send me movies quickly enough, so I have bought many without viewing first.

So far I haven't been disappointed yet.

enjoy
