they got to me with

There isn't artwork on the inside, nor a booklet. We also couldn't include French subtitles for contractual reasons

Despatched from Amazon, I've already got the German edition so it'll be interesting to see how they compare. I'll probably wind up buying the Criterion as well

Did Germany do a Steelbook or anything special?

There was a limited, numbered digipack with a small booklet and additional DVD duplicating the blu ray content and thus making it pretty pointless

its an ok steelbook, pretty plain, nothing inside, im glad i have it, but i didnt pay that much for it. (same as standard edition) but its pretty meh for a steel

love this steelbook. and tho i have seen most of cronenberg's (early) films before i just saw scanners for the first time and loved it - was more complex than i thought - excellent ...
