![]() Now if it was filmed in ye olde traditional drama, or was a real personal account of the happenings filmed in a deep and meaningful manner it may have had a chance with the " silver screen critiques" ![]() Joe (or Jack for that matter) next door would well and truely have a better eye for the "movie itself" not the artsy fartsy way it was delivered... Heres my Chris next door views: Saw it myself last night - 3D gives great depth to the film, and draws you into the world a little...was somewhat disappointed that it all seemed a little cleaned up for kiddies, it could have been an awesome thrill/horror/scarefest with plenty of moments where the giants could have scared the bejeezus out of the viewer. It seemed a bit too Disney for me with a real lack of fatalities (not trying to sound morbid - but there was warring factions so death is inevitable) those who did perish where done so in an 'over'-tasteful way - with shots often cutting away quickly....Kinda got the feeling the directors etc werent sure where their target market was... Still for what it was it served its purpose........entertainment! Oh....and the little twist at the end is classic too! Chris |

That is 3 dollars over what they should have released it for on day one (24.99 or less). I thought the 3D was good, but will wait till it's 20 bucks. It was an interesting movie, and gives a good idea of what the 3D might look like for the giants in Pacific Rim. |

What I did was go to Walmart.com, click on local ads from the top menu, choose my store, and print out the page with the Oz combo pack. I took the print out to customer service at Target, and they price-matched and took the MFG coupon no problem. Best Buy's policy is that you can price match and use a manufacturer's coupon. However, you cannot price match and use a Best Buy coupon. The reason is that the store will get reimbursed by the manufacturer with the MFG coupon, but obviously not from a Bby coupon. Sometimes customer service really just depends on how well the employee knows the rules and knows how to correctly enter discounts into the register. It can be a huge disappointment if the guy doesn't know what he's doing, and it's always best to bring solid proof with you to prove the price match so there's no question. Additionally, from what I've read on this forum, Bby employees always have to enter MFG coupons manually into the register, while at Target, they can just scan them. I had some trouble a few weeks ago trying to use the coupon that came with Life of Pi at Bby. The guy kept trying to scan it and told me that the coupon was invalid. I took it Target and used it no hassle. I have however, had multiple positive experiences price-matching and using Disney MFG coupons at Bby in the past. It just depends on who you get at the register. Last edited by BleedOrange11; 06-13-2013 at 04:56 AM. |
