What if Superman vibrates his molecules so fast, that Thor's Mjolnir won't be able to touch him.

I'd have to base what I know off of the movies since I barely read the Thor comics. That being said, I'm fairly certain Thor and Loki can both die. Their dad almost died of a heart attack when he told Loki he was adopted. By comparison when Superman went through similar emotional distress when he lost Lois Lane he reversed the rotation of the earth, turned back time and saved her. Even when Superman dies he comes back. That and his powers aren't reliant on a hammer or some other sort of accessory he would need to make him stronger.

While Thor's hammer gives him some magic wielding abilities, he is still a god, so he still have super strength and things of that nature. On the other hand, Thor isn't susceptible to some mineral (kryptonite) like Superman is. If Thor wanted to beat Superman, he could just transport them both to a galaxy that doesn't have a yellow sun, or even worse for Supes, a planet that has a red sun. And to your assertion that Odin had a heart attack... it wasn't a heart attack, Odin fell into an Odinsleep. (I period of time where he basically loses his powers and sleeps to recharge.) Odin, and even Thor, when he has the Odinpower, must go into Odinsleep at least once a year. If I remember correctly, there were hints in the movie that Odin hadn't been in an Odinsleep for quite some time. So it was more likely that he was past due and his argument with Loki set him over the edge. |

Superman's molecule can vibrate as fast as he wants, they would still be suceptible to magical lightning (in fact, by supercharging the already super charged vibrating molecules, Thor would make Superman literally explode on a molecular level). There. ![]() |
