A Good Day to Die Hard had a great cast and an interesting story, but the direction and overall execution was abysmal. But that's what one should expect from a John Moore film (ahem...Max Payne, anyone?)
At least dark of the moon had a spectacular finale and a story that made sense compared to the 1st two

Understandable 5 years ago if you were hungry for some demo material, but there are enough releases today you don't have to resort to buying a movie you didn't particularly enjoy.

That newest Bruce Willis movie (it ain't a Die Hard, in fact I don't think anyone involved has ever seen any of the other movies- they CAN'T have)... That new Bruce Willis movie is aggressively and almost maliciously incompetent.

If you are going to see it-see it soon-it won't be in theaters much longer.

I take it you're not working on the special features for this one?!

Dark of the Moon was much better. Although I am a crazy fool who enjoys all three films.

Yeah, this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in theaters in my life. I love the Die Hard franchise so much, so I have to admit, sadly, that I'm curious if a Director's Cut could at least bring it up to a reasonable level under Die Hard 2, but I doubt it.

Commentaries are often recorded prior to theatrical release, which is too bad. I'd love to hear Bruce Willis and the director talk about the disappointment people felt after seeing this pile of crap!!!

Some movies I would own for demo material.

So far I haven't had to do that. I was just very tuned into the audio track in the theater. It sounded great. I would have wanted that in my house. It is really just a moot point. I liked the movie and will be buying it.

As much as a bad press this got (I skipped it) I will end up buying it but not right away.. Sucks because I thought 1-4 was the better movies but we will see.

PQ and AQ on Blu-Ray or in the theater means absolutely nothing if the film is bad. Its just there to enhance the experience.

It's a good day to not pre-order this movie.

I finally used mine at an 11:25 showing this morning. I was the only person in the theater, which was awesome, but it was ultimately a waste of time. This movie had no soul. I won't be buying the individual release and will only ever own it if it's included in a box set with remasters of the earlier movies. I have no desire to ever see it again.
