Today, StarWars.com is excited to present the official reveal for the character's first ever 3.75-inch action figure from Hasbro. Which would be Vader and only Vader due to the "Rule of Two". Sidious and Vader are it. Any other Sith would need to be kept secret by whichever one of the two (Sidious and Vader) was secretly training him. Not running around in black clothing wielding a red saber.
Honestly the Rule of Two should have never been created in the films. It has handicapped the series going forward forcing convoluted work around. Last edited by Cook; 12-31-2013 at 10:28 PM. |

But that's in actual Sith Lords. Apprentices and Dark Side Force Users are allowed. They're just not allowed to learn enough about Sith Teachings to pose a potential threat. Since when that happens, the Sith Lord is usually preparing to kill his Master. ![]() Like exactly what Palpatine did to Darth Plagueis as recounted in "The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise". Or exactly what Vader was planning to do if he managed to turn Luke Skywalker in Cloud City. Last edited by Beast; 01-04-2014 at 12:10 AM. |

Except, Galen Marek is not canon but Star Wars: Rebels will be. So expect anything detailed in Force Unleashed to be thrown out.

I think the Sith Inquisitor character serves the same function as Asajj Ventress. Not a Sith, just a tool of the Sith trained in lightsabre combat in order to serve a specific purpose.
The films show that Sidious would much rather have Vader engaged in military pursuits like leading the fleet or hanging around in Death Stars rather than personally engaging with whatever remaining Jedi there are in the galaxy. Forever trapped in the proverbial iron lung, Vader was not the Sith that Sidious had hoped for so I don't think it's that surprising that he would have other agents on hand. |
